Morning steals the night by Sandra du Plessis
Chapter 328 of the book Little Good Morning Quotes

Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

"Morning steals the night
when the first rays of the sun;
melting the darkness."
Love the image of morning being a thief of darkness. Just have one suggestion that you change "when the first " to With the first so it would read
"Morning steals the night
(With) the first rays of the sun;
melting the darkness."
I think that flows slightly better. Thank you for sharing your work.

This have me a chuckle. Your imaginary friend and MY imaginary friend are very different. ??? A fun take on the concept of an imaginary friend. I'm sure if there's not one already, this will inspire one of those "jump from your seat" movie scripts. Thank you for sharing your work.

This free verse poem blessed me today. I particularly like the lines
"He's my cool breeze on hot days
He's my warmth on cold days"
They remind me of the comfort He gives us. Thank you for sharing your work.

I rated this a six because I think it captures perfectly the fear and angst that covid has wrought. That photo is so powerful and arresting and your words are a perfect caption for it. Thank you for sharing your work.

A crystal coffin makes me think of Snow White. A far cry from the image above. That is a disturbing thought. Now I feel claustrophobic. I guess that's a sign that it's hood horror poetry. Thank you for sharing your work.

Yes I agree. Sometimes there is no one to say that phrase so I say it aloud to my cat just to hear it and affirm that it's true. Thank you for sharing your work.

Common sensation to many I think. For me life didn't change that much but not going to church and not seeing my family is tough. I hope and pray that this virus will stop spreading soon. Thank you for sharing your work.

As a neighbor to your south I have seen these protests. (On the news) I wonder if the world will ever be the same. I'm not sure what concerns me more the virus which is tragic or the possible permanent loss of freedom. Both are in God's hands. Good thought provoking piece as always froend. Thank you for sharing your work.

Feeding Time with Patty by Teri7

Oh this took me back. My Aunt Pat had a farm and we used to feed the chickens. Often we just threw the greens or whatever we had in through the chicken wire because they are a little scary with those feet and claws. Cute story. I don't see any errors. Good luck in the contest my friend. Thank you for sharing your work.
