I have avoided writing as I'm still processing the horror and sadness.
You have summarized in few words the damage done. I join you in your hope for the future. Best wishes in the contest:)

I have avoided putting my words in writing -- still processing the horror and sadness. You have said it well. My hope is that we each will look into our souls and acknowledge failures large and small and gather the strength and courage to be more clear in our intolerance for violence and injustice. Stay safe:)

Your words to God's ears :) The day is brighter but the clouds still linger - sad to see the continued ignorance and denial.
Joe and Kamala deserve better (and we do, too!)
I enjoyed your 3-6-9. Good luck in the contest.

What a great summation of life well-lived. The roads taken and not taken have brought us to our todays -- and here we are:)
I enjoyed your words and calm acknowledgement of life's opportunities/challenges.
Maybe those of us in our 70's have more answers than we know:)
Thanks for writing and sharing.

Your words of resigned pain capture the loss that does not leave. Yet
I feel hope in the suggestion that the soul will persist and eventually have its human experience.
I am sorry for your loss.

I really enjoyed reading this-- at first thought it was a fun tale of a new hobby, then quickly saw the depth of your recall and observations. Love the humor and wordplay!
Two suggestions: spelling of "feminine" and I think "stairs" requires "are."
Your gentle but strong soul comes through in this clever piece.
Great ending sentence:)
Stay safe, and good luck in the contest.

Thank you! I needed that laugh as I can totally relate:)
I have a sign in my kitchen that says "Dull women have immaculate homes."
I have friends who cannot dust often enough -- it takes all kinds:)

Powerful and painful! Your words may strip away the denial that many use to avoid the discomforting truth of how other humans are treated
(not expecting many to gain awareness, but hope exists.)
Great writing:)

Your warm words and the artwork complement each other beautifully.
Autumn offers me the hope of startling, colorful beauty in this time of sameness and challenging days.
A wonderful tribute to nature:)

Fun. True. Ouch. I smiled as I identified with many of the observations along with my own judgments and reactions to reading the diverse writings.
I also wince when reading that man's routine words.
Thanks for writing:)
