Hello Cdumontheir,
You've written an excellent free verse poem that captures
something many have experienced, as insecurity holds one back
from taking a chance.
Excellent imagery in your lines
Not sure if you meant, [Unable able] to turn away
That space is difficult to overcome.
Well done
Robert

Hello Barb,
This is a wonderful poem for the Twenty Words of Sympathy contest
that touches on the essence of sympathy and support.
You even managed to put a rhyme in there and finished with a perfect
thought.
Excellent choice of art work, too.
Well done
Best wishes to you.

Predictions for the 2020s

Hello author,
You've written and excellent poem for the prediction contest
The 2020s move us closer to what once was science fiction
in robotics, and the logical progression of trends.
A woman will rise to the highest station;
It's about time, and definitely needed, as men have made a mess
of this world we live in.
Bridges fall from lack of repair, while walls rise.
Excellent predictions, most will likely come true
Nicely done
Good luck in the contest
Robert

You've written an excellent tanka for the contest
with excellent imagery of the planets and molecules
transferring the image from the large to the small.
The recursion of fundamental principles is inherent
in the structure of all
Nicely done

Hello Rhonnie,
This poem explains a lot, from the looks of Lilith,
I'd suggest you stay far away.
I'm not sure if the excuse is going to "fly."
There might be a few cobwebs in the belfry, too.
Well done and good luck,
I think you are going to need it.

You've written an excellent poem on loss and pain.
Only someone who has experienced such a lost
can understand the grief. I do not think there is a replacement,
memories are forever.
"Sinkholes in my heart" expresses it very well.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Barbara,
You've written an excellent poem on the Mardi Gras
with very good mono-rhymes.The poem reads smoothly
in the eight syllable tetrameter.
But most important, you've captured a bit of the immense
flavor, excitement, color and fun of Mardi Gras.
Excellent picture to match
Well done

Hello Kim,
You've written an excellent poem for the 3-line contest.
Lies are usually exposed for what there are, but it often takes
far to long. Agreeing on the truth seems to be the problem.
Well done for only 5-7-7 syllables
Good luck in the contest

Hello Dorothy,
Yes, gardeners must be hardy people, both in body and spirit.
Poets are like gardeners of words,
it also requires a hardy soul to be a poet.
Excellent fifteen syllable poem for the contest
with a nice touch of alliteration.
Best wishes for a bountiful garden.

Hello EE,
An excellent poem as you take the reader on a journey
through the broken imagery. But I wonder, has not the imagery
been broken for centuries, even millennia.
There is little that is new or unique in the story of man,
layered in the strata of stone and sand
repeated again and again.
There is still light and dark, and the ending has yet to be written.
Excellent imagery and use of language.
Well done
Robert
