Before It's Too Late by Barb Hensongispsaca
Chapter 19 of the book 2020 - 3

Barb, this is a well written Nonet poem with all syllables in check. It is a sad expression of the older generation wanting to share with a younger generation that seems too preoccupied with the world of social media. Sigh..
I enjoyed your reflective poem. ~DDx

Yes, as much as we were forced to slow down, many appreciating beyond the message, many ignoring the message - parts are slowly opening up again. Will we remember what we had forgotten before we slowed down to see, catch-up and care? ~DDxx

This is a cheeky little poem.
There is a lot that can be said within five lines of seven syllables each. The picture painted is clear. Well done on this short read. ~DD

June, I really enjoyed this perfectly rhymed poem on the Monarch butterfly. I like the factual scene and the reflective element in the final stanza. The author's notes are appreciated too. Great job. ~DD

Jan, well done with this double nonet poem.
It tells a story of night gazing and love in mono rhyme. A well thought out composition, making sense within the syllable count. An enjoyable read. ~DD

Just lovely. I enjoyed this well rhymed poem. I like how it portrays a story of hardworking man, horse and its offspring. It is a nicely descriptive read - Coat of roan shining in sun, Your daddy had feet like dinner plates - giving a more personal feel to the story. Thank you for also sharing your author's notes. All very much enjoyed. ~DDx

This is a great limerick that pokes a bit of sharp fun at the huge mistake of not researching the details of sought after traded stocks before buying. What a big mistake that is. Thank you for sharing. ~DD

This is a great cinquain poem. All syllables are in place with some peppering of alliteration. I enjoyed the personification of Mother Nature having mood swings - very clever. Excellent picture to accompany this piece and an enjoyable read. ~DD

Thank you for sharing this information Robyn. Any information to help our awareness and survival is always a welcome. I take vitamin C, the highest dose, daily. It prevents me from getting sick in most cases. Washing hands is a must and, unfortunately, some people do not do this simple act when they should. Enough said. Stay safe. ~DD
