Don't feed the beast by Stephen Force

I like your poem! You have a great way of expressing an emotion that so many have. It can restrict so much. Good advice. The fear of what others may think of us can be starved by emotional release in poetic form. Thanks for connecting and sharing,

Sandra I enjoyed the style and words of your challenge entry. My rhym is so so, my singing not so great and my enjoyment of music would be enhanced if I could decipher notes. But I agree music is good for the spirit. I must incorporate it into my life more.

It's because your a monkey!
There is a mysterious condition which makes people have selective hearing until "I told you so!" It's called youth! For some reason they prefer to find out for themselves what is wise. 'Wisdom and money are wasted on the young'
Great to see you're out of novel mode

You're welcome to my patience LOL. This is an interesting picture and a good use of 6 word restriction. I wish you luck in the contest with your 'deep' poetry

As a limerick style it is great, but personally the mental picture from the rhyme is away from your usual standard. But I guess your work is done!

(If they knew about the Corona virus they wouldn't be so discontent ) I think this is a very understanding of write of what we have compared to other countries. It's a well thought out ABC contest entry and I wish you luck

Your poem reminded me of the value of sight. A friend who loses herself reading has macular degeneration and is going blind. Reading seems to be drowned by virtual means, digital libraries etc. There are so many points that jumped at me, a good poem, thanks for sharing

Jesse, I really like your statement of dignity and respect - that's huge by itself! In physical medicine the greater the trauma and damage the longer it takes to heal. The same with mental. You are rebuilding your identity, and we're all works in progress. I admire your tenacity, thanks for sharing
