This was an interesting read. Somewhat repetitive, but it worked well. The sight of a shipwreck - or any wreck - is a sad thing, to be sure. It should be something that brings deep thoughts to the forefront of a person's mind. We need to consider ETERNITY.

WoW!! This was so...heartfelt. Like it came from inside you. Almost as if YOU suffered this type of pain.

In any case, it was well-written. Well-worded. Talking with God is like conversing with the best Therapist in existence!!

This line: 'THAT TIME YOUR WORK IS DONE' (third line of stanza 4) perhaps you could say BY THEN YOUR WORK IS DONE instead? Just a thought.

SO WELL-SAID!! Profound and well-worded (I had to say that part). I would say only "He is a shepherd..." instead, but that's just me. That's how I see Him: as THE shepherd.

WOW! BRAVO! Absolutely beautiful! So well-said. It reads as though from the heart (as I'm sure it is) and it speaks the truth!

Just 1 thing: ' But I know this the march of fate' [I think it would be good if you put a comma after 'this' and before 'the'; it just seems like it would read a little better.

But I could be terribly wrong. A poet I am NOT.

WoW! Well-written, this! I admire how you freely give God the credit for the wind! He does have so much power! I also love the questions in the chorus. It's like the narrator is continually asking how real the wind is. But the best part is how you ENDED this piece. BRAVO!

I'm not sure what you mean with 'by hope is paired', but I'll let it slide because - as I've already stated - poetry isn't what I write.

It's very true, however, that we must be careful what we say and when. I've had to learn that the hard way several times, as I'm sure most people have. Thank you for posting this.
