Well this completely through me for a loop,
I'd never thought I'd read about bull penises attacking people in the streets lol
Of course that's not how you conveyed it but still! (Lol)
But the amount of meanings for one word?!? That's intense.

EEEEK this was eerie! Just thinking about people hanging is horrific, let alone the fact that people sat by and watched it as some kind of entertainment. The haunting thoughts in my mind, it's sad to know the prisoners had to build their own death house,
They literally dug their own graves.
I kind of liked reading about it though >:)
I hate horror movies, SO i stay away from horror books, but this
made me eat vegetables I thought I didn't like but found out was tasty!

I like your train of thought and formation of words, the second stanza was oozing with amusement each line! I could feel the rise of diction with the words and punctuation you chose! A very nice read, short but packed with imagery of your getting old pangs (lol)

You have beautifully painted one of God's marvels with words! Very timely too, there are storms brewing through here everyday now it seems and you can't help but to look up in awe! Great entry for the contest! :)

Your poem made me think of the whole ecosystem around the lake at night, I heard the bugs and frogs croaking, the still waters splashing up against the banks. Then the moon setting slowly as the night progresses,
reflecting on the lake, like a plane about to land on a runway!
The ending was a perfect touch!

I feel the attachment to your grey sweater as each line progresses. It's like an old friend that you can wear. I saw the loose hanging strings, the sleeves hanging over your hands and everything.
I bet its over sized too! It has to be (lol) !

I enjoyed the format of this poem, it made the poem bob along the sea, up and down, up and down as the meter imposes. I love the opening line
"The mystical night weaves a tale" Great poem!

Everybody duck, Shots fired! PEW PEW! (lol) Just kidding,
This is quite funny because it makes me recall a few reviews that I have gotten that listed the name of the poem, with the first line of my poem, then their signature was the other half! I am cracking up right now!!

"You hoo - you who"
I see what you did there ^_^
Very nice
