Town Thief by Ada Jewell

This is cute! I can visualize this happening on a street somewhere in USA. lol
I guess that is one way to get some chickens to eat! This reminds me of a time when our neighbors had Guineas and the neighbor kids had even named them. Well, my husband and I were leaving to go somewhere and the Guineas got in the way. The next thing I know we hit a Guinea and James had to go tell our neighbor about hitting the bird and watch as some of her little ones cried about the Guinea. lol thanks for the story. katy

My Mask by Ada Jewell

Interesting poem. It reminds me of a conversation I had with my husband about a robber wearing a mask. How do you go about describing the robber since everyone has a mask now? I told him, well guess you describe the mask...like the guy was tall and had a Mickey Mouse mask on his face. hehe. Thanks for sharing, Katy

Love it. It's so true! We are not promised tomorrow. Last week after having a long Memorial Day weekend, a friend from my childhood came home from a weekend at the beach. He collapsed and died of a heart attack. Thankfully, he was a Christian.

Good Morning Roy, I really liked your song. There is just a couple little typos I wanted you to know about. On the top where it say: Shadow of he storm...(the storm) also Fanstory likes to add their own fonts into text like this: SHADOW OF THE STORM ???¢????ª=116 Open: (1)
Otherwise, love the song. Thanks for posting. Have a blessed day.

Hey there, Good chapter. I like reading about Carl. I did find one sentence that I'm not sure what you were trying to say: I think you were trying to say (A glitter of home)....instead of "I glitter of hope suddenly rises to the surface."
In other news, I survived my birthday! Glad that is over with. Had a good day I guess. Hung out with James. Now it's back to fixing up the house, unpacking and hopefully getting back to writing.
I had to contain Roxie and Willow in my craft room with me cause Roxie kept getting into stuff and tearing it up. lol She is so funny. James is fixing to go to work so I will be able to do what i want. :) ttyl katy

Mike, great chapter! I was just wondering the other day about the story about Lew. Glad you had a new chapter for us to read. So he has 2 brain tumors? Wow, having one is bad enough! I had one and had it taken out in April of 2016. Thankfully, it was benign. Love that you are sharing Christ through your writing! God bless you my friend! katy

Mike, I liked this story. It kept my attention. I'm not usually one for reading sci-fi at all but this got me curious so I had to see what you wrote. I was half expecting it to be a Flash Fiction and stop midway. I was so glad it didn't. hehe
God bless, katy

Hey there, how are you doin over there? We are moving this weekend! It was going to be the 15th but the opportunity presented its self so we decided to move this weekend! SO
I 've been busy boxing stuff up like a madwoman! hehe
Pretty good chapter. There is just one little part I am not sure of where it says:

Lights flash across the dark, starless sky, sirens wail in the distance. They look up to find a fleet of vehicles headed their way. I'm glad Jackie had our personal information deleted from the national databank. When Granny asked how she managed, Jackie laughs and says she doesn't want to know. Granny did a search just to be sure and the only thing she found was a death certificate on her and Jackie.

I feel like I missed something. WHO is Jackie? Was this her baby?
Roxie is 6 months old today! She has gotten so big! The new house has a big yard that the girls are going to love once they get over there! I figured out last night how I am going to transport my cats. lol
I haven't been able to sleep very well lately cause I get anxious whenever we are moving. My mind doesn't shut up. We have a crate I use for Roxie when we are gone somewhere. However, I plan to use it for the cats to transport them to the new place. The other carrier that I have for them really only carries one at a time and it's closed in, only used it with them when I had to go get them fixed a couple of years ago. ttyl katy

Only saw this and was wondering about it. Shouldn't it be boys instead of boy since he has more than one?" Nighty-night, boy." He chuckles closing the plastic cover.
How are you doing? We took a bunch of boxes and containers to a storage unit on Wednesday. I'm supposed to be packing more stuff but I've been so tired today. James is back at work today. He was off Wednesday and worked from home on Tuesday. I will be glad when stuff gets back to normal! We are waiting to find out if we got the house we want to rent. I really like it. It has a big backyard for the dogs and it has a wonderful front porch. I can see me sitting on the porch drinking my coffee in the mornings and writing there as well. sigh....we will see. I will just be glad to move and get it over with. I hate being in limbo. I let the dogs outside in the back and they played and dug in the dirt for a good 30 minutes. We have a little and I mean tiny backyard that is fenced in. It's basically a good area for the dogs to make a mess and be contained. I will fill in the holes before we move. Guess that's all for now. ttyl katy

Sacrifice The Weak by papa55mike

Thank you for sharing. We all are weak in some way. When my daughter as fighting for her life and going through chemotherapy, some people would show up at church with a cold. When that happened, most of the time I had to keep Jessica at home when her blood count was low. Some people just don't think or are very sensitive to others. Jessica has been gone since 2001 but I am so glad we had her for the 10 1/2 years on this earth. She was healed when she went to heaven. Thanks again for sharing. katy
