My dog is worshipfully staring at me right now, as I read this. And you're right. Dogs see us as gods. With cats, they are the gods, the ultimate difference between the most common house pets. I guess I'm very arrogant. I prefer being seen as god. Nice job.

Second thing I have reviewed of yours and the second 6-star. You're fucking awesome. I much prefer the darkness unearthed to the sappy, nervous positives. I'm gonna become a fan. Very nice work.

Hi. Because you were so generous on reviews and comments made to me, I figured I'd be polite and like your writings no matter what. This is the first one I have read and it is fucking great (if the language bothers you, sorry, but I guess it does not me). You have taken some rather extensive scientific theory and historical recreation (the legends-are-the-best-we-can-do of history books) and formed it into a great attack on a figure from the past of some prominence. Your range here, mixed with the extensiveness of your commentary, opens a portal into a truly fascinating way of looking at something. This is wonderful. It is the second 6-star I have ever given out (shouldn't they be worth it [thanks, by the way, for the thing on Constantine]?) Just one question: what examples might there be of when incest went entirely right and all the strong and dominate characteristics were passed on to the child, making them honestly better than everyone else was? Maybe that should be a writing prompt on here . . . I gotta go do something--

Ah, the limerick. Very nice example. Silly as most limericks are, and ultimately (realize that I am getting to one hundred-fifty characters) a job well done.

I honestly prefer this abbreviated version to the full poem you give us in the notes. It is quite lovely. And while, to me, this stinks of POETRY, I cannot deny that it also works as such. Very nice.

Perfect take on unraveling certain cliches of the horror genre. I like the use of apostrophes for allow the language to give us a deeper insight into the character. That is quite impressive considering the limited space.

I'm interpreting the ending as a punchline, which makes this work for me. A tragedy followed by a bit of mean-spiritedness. Just curious, although it is certainly not necessary to include in the text, but what's she dying of?

This is excellent. A wonderful rhythm and flow and an interesting presentation to boot. If there is anything to say (at least from the outset) is that the first verse is a little clunky in spots. It is a trifle overwritten. It's the 'glass window/internal strife line.' With such a solid foundation of movement throughout, this is highlighted even more. Great job.

Just remember--you can grade papers drunk too. Retired teacher here (high school English). It is a terrible job. Sometimes even the fucking students are the problem, along with all the other people that annoy you every single day. My wife is a teacher too. It is a pretty sullen life of dashed accomplishments and endless complaints.

I am a retired teacher myself (high school English). Yeah, most of the staff are pretentious, useless assholes, most principals are bossy, failed teachers who know someone or happen to be politically savvy, just remember: While you might be there for the kids, most of them are assholes too--
