I found this story to be riveting and heartfelt. The cat gave mystery and reality in the mix. I especially like the ending. The paragraphs transitioned well and the story pacing was just right. An excellent work and most enjoyable reading experience.

For dialogue only, this story was easy to follow, filled with action, and an entertaining read. The title fitting. Perhaps when the contest is over, you will more fully develop this great tale? Enjoyed!

An excellent poem about prejudice. I especially like the last two lines, particularly "with grace all folk imbue." I loved the story in your author notes as well. Sounds like the church got a wonderful pastor. Your chosen photograph even broadens the message in your poem and was an excellent choice. Great rhyming scheme as always! Enjoyed!

LOL! This poem sings its flow and is most amusing. The political atmosphere these days is like watching a three ring circus. The back and forth exposes all, doesn't it? Doesn't say much for voters' intelligence. LOL!

I especially like the 3rd and 4th line of the last stanza in your poem. Children are often frightened when introduced to new family members who can't seem to resist hugging them. Always best to respect someone's space until you are assured you aren't being offensive. Good photograph choice for theme.

I count 5-7-9 syllable lines as per writing prompt entry requirement. The chosen photograph goes well with the poem's theme. The words ring true. I especially liked the last line and the use of the word "always." A true friend always is there when you need them to be.

You've captured the essence of Isaiah 42:9 in this poetic verse. Let us sing the new song to our Lord! I especially liked your first stanza. I do have a question about the rhyming of "seen" and "been." (I suppose it could be regional pronunciation.) "Seen" long e (bee), "been" short as in "eh" (best). I love your photograph choice for this theme. Enjoyed!

What an astounding photograph you've chosen for this poem. The words sheep and lamb as befitting to mankind. I especially liked the first two stanzas. A peacefulness found in such beauty. Enjoyed!
