Back to work by Colin John

You are more fortunate than others. Your work does not include others so there is no stopping you from your craft. Yes, you should be needing a rest by then. Good show Colin.

Ghosts of Thanksgiving Past by Mary Vigasin

Of course, we would prefer the table to be as it was in previous years but it is what it is and we have to endure. With prayers and hope, we will overcome this unreal state to have another Happy Thanksgiving.

Mother by Monica Chaddick

Monica, I feel for you. Is there nothing that can be done to assuage your communications with your mother. Is there no appeal you can make that will persuade her behaviour toward you? Well, then I guess you have to go with the flow.

Vaccine! by Robert Zimmerman

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

I'm afraid the President will get no credit for all those wonderful things he did. He should be The Man of the Year and a list of all his achievements should fill a Time magazine! Great poem Robert. Thank you for sharing and for your great author's note.

It sounds like you are in a perpetual state of pain. I love your story about the upside-down flying ducks. I had those ducks right side up on two couches and my valance boarded window. I don't know what I would have done if all that was upside down. LOL.

Yes, I know the feeling that you render here in your joyful poem. I have four of them and they are a constant delight. So many talents and stories to be involved in. Never-ending joy!

Now, I'm sure the prayers of thanks will be for your survival of this virus. We who have survived must realize how fortunate we are, to date. There have been millions who have not. We are blessed and in the words of Tiny Tim "God Bless Us One and All.'

Radiant Ruins by rspoet

I think I understand your message. It would seem that to some a ruin is a ruin but to an archaeologist, a ruin is radiant with its history that tells the story that is deeply hidden. The story that he will find. So nicely rendered. (I could be wrong)

This is such a beautiful poem of love. It is so heartfelt in its rendering.
To feel so deeply about someone is our secret goal in life and when we are lucky, it happens. If this is a true wish, I pray it happens.

And that we never forget. The birth of Jesus is the most important part of Christmas and I do believe, despite your lovely poem about gifts and babbles, that this Christmas will be more Spiritual.
