Hi Oliver, again I wish I had a six. Surely this is based on a true story as it is so believable they way you write it and something I can relate to as I have had adventures with my sons camping with the weather and all but without the mad dog.In England it's just the weather, my youngest son is in Scotland now and has just been up "Ben nevis" the highest mountain in Britain.Anyway as before read straight through it with no stops. Great work.

Hi Oliver, you got me on this one and I never expected the horrid end you mention,a very good story and can't help wondering what happened to his wife, hopefully she reported him missing and did not end up with the husbands and Freds nightmare.I wish I had a six left. Many thanks for sharing,I would say that some stories are hard to read and not captivating, I read yours straight through and did not want it to end. Cheers Colin.

A very nice tribute to the wife and friend you miss so dearly and that you want to be re-united with and hope that in her place now she would not have forgotten the happy and fun times spent with you in this life. Many thanks for sharing. Kind regards Colin

Hi , this is a wonderful contest entry about the dilemma faced by all countries around the world and nobody it seems wants to commit, not least here in Britain. Cheers Colin

An excellent contest entry for the five-line poem and I think it works really well considering only five lines, good luck and I will be looking out for this one. Cheers

An excellant poem Cedar and we can see why it was a winner with love and the loss of a son and husband and the tragic ending should make anyone ghasp with sadness. Thank you for entering so all could read.Cheers Colin

I already did this once but got a power cut and it did not save, this is very informative and I am a bit surprised by the date and the persecution of Christians as I thought Rome turned to Christianity some way before this.
You will find the race card thing goes back another 3000 years to Egypt where the first Pharaoh was black from Upper Egypt and women were classed as just as important to life creation. Unfortunately, they were classed as Pagan and were not fought highly for this although most of Romans worshiped Mythra and other Gods. Cheers Helen and will check him out.

Hi , an excellant poem that does rhymn and does meet the contest requirements, I would not give up on poetry as this is the way I would like to read other peoples poems , it only has rules to restrict an individual. This is a good example of poetry:understandable, keeps you interested. it flows and somewhat ryhmes. Cheers Colin

Hi ,a very thought provoking photo and genuine words of hope and change, hopefully the killings in the inner cities by mainly minority groups will change also and their will not be a need for a strong police presence.
Kind regards Colin
