There's not a lot I can add to what has already been said, so I'll make this short; great job and good luck, That's all I have. everything else would be hyperbole, and redundant :)

April 1, a Time for Fools

I thought this was I really good entry into an April Fools day contest country style. It had all the elements of country fun a barn and a visit from the pastor and his wife; and the fact that you were the fool on April 1st was a real nice turn of events. Good Luck

Great! Nice family story, I really like the way you open the story, you introduce the characters and give us everyone's motivation: Grammie's patience, Grampa's chivalry, and wisdom and Rusty's energetic curiosity. You the three parts of a short story (Cat, put it up a tree, and get it down) Not only did you do it in about eighty words you made me chuckle doing it. Thanks

Great job. I am a big fan of Star Trek. and Big Bang Theory. and you have very successfully conjoined the two. I really appreciate your ability to make sense of or give meaning to your poems while maintaining the rhyming scheme, and other form restrictions. Really well done.

I remember Charlie, this is an excellent submission, for a blood quill poem. It is also commentary on rejection. Every thing teaches us something; either what, or what not works. It also should be noted not everything works for everybody; however this worked for me (24 more days:))

Really nice submission, It read well, I liked the repetition of the "How lovely..." To me it spoke more of comfort, and reassurance, than it did of the title, but the form, message and words were beautiful. Good luck and again really nice job.

Great picture of the "Chocolate Cat" not to mention a great prelude to a story. You've set the hook, now you must reel us in or cut the line. I feel Ashley is going to love this. Good luck.

You certainly can color inside the lines; your syllable and rhyming scheme are on point as is your track for 30 in 30, I like the body of the poem but; the gif looked like maybe in 10 or 15 yrs. there might be some litigation, (it didn't look entirely consensual:)) Great submission. Go Go Go:)

Wow! This is really really nice. I'm a slow reader but this moved along really smooth and quick. the dialogue was realistic, the imagery of the scene beside the river was vivid and well done. I must admit I saw the ending before reading it, but it took nothing away from the story. Personally I would've gone with Matt as the dad but that's just me:) Great sumission
