Very well written. Funny and wonderful imagery. I live in Arizona and we have javelinas everywhere in the desert. Many a man has been chased by a mad mama. It also struck me as funny because I took basic training near El Paso, TX. There were lots of East coast guardsmen and we were assigned to guard a tent in the desert where the other guards were sleeping. Each man had an empty M-16. When the coyotes started to howl, the guards ran like baby chicks. So thanks for bring back those memories. Take care and go well.

Very nicely done. A story in some fashion to which we can all relate. Missing a golf ball or tossing up a tennis ball for a serve - head up, watch the ball, bend your knees, it sails over the back fence. Thanks for the humor and imagery. Go well.

Very nicely done. As a Vietnam vet, I always pause to read poems/stories about those who served in the military. Thank you for your thoughtful words. For all the men and women who have served since the beginning of our country, each deserves our gratitude. Thanks again for a nice poem. Go well.

Nicely done. Having moved from MN. to AZ., we no longer see the geese flying. A sight and sound I miss. I must admit I don't miss the winter that followed. Your brief poem evokes nice images and memories. Thank you for sharing your words. Go well.

Very nicely done. Six words that shares an important message. Our lives are filled with wants and needs; and for most, it seems wants occupy our minds. For those whose needs are always in the forefront, it is a different world. Thank you for sharing this powerful message in so few words. Take care and go well.

Very nicely done. For me, the poem evokes all of those questions I wonder about. Who lived there? What were their dreams? Did they die with peace? The setting for your writing is perfect for questions. Thanks for sharing your writing. Go well.

Very nicely done. It was not an easy task to write a poem so short that was able to bring smiles and images. Also a very cute picture you used. Thanks for sharing your writing. Take care and go well.

Very well done, thank you for sharing your writing. For me, a good poem evokes an emotion. Yours certainly did. As an Arizona resident, I realize we need to look closely for seasonal changes. When I stop and observe, the desert is as full of beauty and any place I've lived. I'm impressed that you so expertly followed what sounds like difficult rules for this type of poem. Take care and go well.

Well stated and well understood. My Yankees didn't make the field of dreams this year, but the Nats and Astros have filled the void. To grow up with baseball is to love it. Thanks for sharing your words. Take care and go well.
