Oh, this really touched me . While I was never actually sexually abused , there was a neighbor who tried to charm us young girls. He never got any where with us, but I can feel for this young woman. Very well written.

This line really struck me "there's nothing greater
than knowledge gained beyond the stratosphere " it wasn't just getting to the moon. It was astronomical amount if knowledge we gained by it. I really liked this one.

What a story and what a job. I give you lots of credit for hanging in there. When I was 20 snd a regular waitress in a fancy golf resort, I couldn't wait to be 21 so I could be a cocktail waitress and make big bucks. On my first and only night I slapped a customer. Didn't get fired. Only demoted to serving only food. Thank for sharing this.

While I agree with you on the importance of reading, especially the classics, I fear for the upcoming generation as so many of these books are being banned or edited for the purpose of political correctness. I've actually bought some, just to have them efote they disappear.

What an interesting take on this Bible story. People who have technically died but come back to life in earth have described the glory of Heaven. Who knows? MAybe that IS why Jesus wept.
