This is a wonderful poem about cherishing, reminiscing, hoping, loving into the future. So well crafted and engaging. The final stanza is the best and is so lovely.

A thoroughly enchanting and haunting read that sticks with me. Really good choice of art accompaniment. The sentence you crafted for the repeating one is dramatic and interesting.

This is a beautiful poem coming from a beautiful heart. I didn't know her but perhaps I can come to know her through her writings. I'm glad she blessed us with her words.

What a gritty, fitting art choice - really like it. Your poem is like a poem noir, as it were. It is also gritty and makes one feel the night in a city so completely as described. Give me chills! Well done!

Oh, my! How awful for the sufferer! I love learning new words (surgify). Makes me want to be more careful eating popcorn and flossing more! GREAT photo that draws you into the poem very quickly out of intense curiosity!!

Great rhyming 20 syllable poem. Filled with hope and triumph over storms. The glasses of cheer can help with that! Very good contest entry - good luck!!!

I feel what you feel and what you want the reader to feel. Sad and empty is grief. But memories you also write about. The memories and now the alone-ness. Very well expressed and the beach footprints photo bring home the sentiment.

Sweet poem for a sweetheart. It is dear, uplifting, cheerful, endearing. I think for your knack for writing love letters you have them beating your door down.

Excellent poetic description of a fizzly New Year's Eve, I'm telling you! But the fun was in the people and the remembering and the planning for the new year/new decade. Nice work!
