Excellent After traveling life's treacherous road for many a year, I too have found my way back to a passion I sorely missed. My husband wanted me to write again and your beautiful and inspiring poem touched the perfect spot. Thank you for sharing.
Excellent Very well done. I loved the descriptions of nature in Tasmania and the sensation of savoring the chocolates. One does not chew chocolate, but you knew that. It melts in the mouth and it's complex flavors excite every aspect of the brain as it oozes down the throat. Thank you. --Stan
Excellent Hello welcome back sometime Gods says you need a break and due time your mind, body, soul and muse will get your motors going again. Thank you for sharing this uplifting write. Cookie
Excellent Gorgeous photo of grandma and baby. Yes, you will write again, it is in our blood. A watched pot never boils, and when we walk away for a while, the dinner gets cooked. Nice to see you pop in with a little poem. I was wondering? XXK
Excellent -Very good artwork. -Glad to see you, Marijke. -Nice poem about how that muse will return, and I know you will be sharing more. -You are a good writer.
Excellent Hi Marijke, well you may be waiting for your muse but I think he has already arrived. A very nice poem in 8,6,8,6 syllable form maintained throughout, apart from line- 'Be it essay be it verse' which has seven syllables' - just a small detail in an otherwise lovely poem. Warm regards Dorothy x and keep writing.
Excellent This sounds like a bad case of writer's block. It seems a must has hit and hopefully will stay for a long time. I like the repetition. It helps show how much writing means to the speaker in the poem. I like how the motion in the artwork shows how motion changes an object. Keep writing dragonpoet

Excellent Hi Marijke: It is good to have you back with us. I had been wondering. When the muse hijacks our pen, it should be a crime... but if we lock them up, then where would we be? lol Your ab, cb rhyme scheme was delightful. I'll be looking forward to more soon! Kim
Excellent Welcome back! I was happy to see your name in my inbox. Muses sometimes take long sabbaticals but they always come back eventually. I enjoyed this clever writer's block poem Good flow, fine rhyming. Good use of rhythmic repetition. Fine phonetics too! Spag suggestion (optional): One day(,) I'll grab my pen nice medley of F and W sounds here: The words will flow - effortlessly *suggestion: Be it essay(,) be it verse Perfect closing note: But I am sure I'll write again ... for better or for worse Implying you are 'married' to your muse, so to speak. Nice! Warmly, rd
