Smiles, mermaid I smiled as I was reading your tale of the green aliens and the friendly dogs who were attracted to these green aliens that were invisible to us human.
By the way Mermaids just to let you know that you are very creative
What an absorbing read, you put the mind of the reader in that of both canine and alien, maybe dogs can see them and that starts the barking, while the aliens would have many questions, very well presented****kahpot
I thought this to be a rather creative and well-written story. Usually, when you read stories about aliens they either plan to take over earth or make a friend with a lonely human.
But the interest in dogs was a different take and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
All the best
What an amazing photo that has sparked your imagination here to create this write. Star fish starring in their own show here, what a fun post, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
Your poem is excellent. I like the unique way in which you portray the ocean and the gorgeous life that inhabits it.
I like your rhyme scheme, and the way your words elicit beautiful images.
Good luck in the contest.
A playful and upbeat poem, accompanied with an effective image that brings the words to life.
The descriptive language used throughout supports the positive tone of the piece.
What a bizarre photograph! Where was it taken? At least it has given you the inspiration for a poem including seagulls, a bull shark - and your signature mermaids of course!
A fun mermaid poem and you have completed the all word requirements beautifully.
Excellent artwork and good presentation.
Well, mermaids, you met all the requirements for this contest, and admirably. You have a loveable character in Yetti, may he rest in peace, and of course your big sissy of a cat, who has learned his lesson well! Congratulations on making me chuckle. May you do similarly with the judges of the contest.
Guinea pigs, a nice delicacy in some countries, are fun pets, aren't they. Cats don't understand them at all. It must have been funny to see Puma so startled by such a docile creature. You say you continue to learn, perhaps one example of something you learned may be of interest to readers who don't have your experience.
May I offer a punctuation tip? For example, "Our gray cat, Puma, entered...(commas are usually used to set the name apart in the sentence...)
