Knowledge is a guy who has several more or less finished works: Prose, fiction, non-fiction (a novel biography of a friend's father), science fiction, mono logs. And many short religious (Christian) talks. A self-motivation manual and other self-motivation lessons. He has even written some fantasy stories. The sad thing is that he has never really worked at publishing them...just half-heartedly a few rejections and he gave up but that didn't stop him from continuing his writing. Maybe this site can get him there...

I have come here to learn to become a better writer and I appreciate all the help (critique) of my friends here. My pen name here is what I need and not who I am. I have come here to gain an education in writing. I am treating this as I would a course in composition 101. I hope you do the same here, for on this site we are all teachers as well as students.

Is not my wife beautiful...sigh...

I highly recommend "Keri" by DecrepitOldBag

If you really want to know more about me, go to and check out my works. My pen name is "knowledge." I truly am an accomplished writer! You may have to join to read my many, many works, and genres that I write in. Just a thought.

knowledge: If you have a minimum bank account of $600 , there's a US bill put up to tax it! That means the government is trying to tax the very poor of our US population! What happened to their bleeding hearts for the poor? Check and see if it makes it to be voted on. If it is then dis anyone who voted for this slavery act!

Cogitator: Relationships are like two sponges or two sea urchins?ego choice. Natural selection is total absorption.
When we say ?I appreciate you,? it raises self-worth in both. (I appreciate you)?See?

Restriction to FS for communicating is ego choice, as well.
    I welcome speaking and listening.

knowledge: I can't believe what happened yesterday: Our American president just put in place a mandate that will allow him to declare Marshall Law and wage ware on US Citizens! Now all that has to happen is for staged riots to start. If that happens then he can declare ML and there will be no more elections! He will be the first real dictator of America. The most likely place for them to start is voting sights. Now we will all cry in our sadness.

Self-government must precede governance of any sort.

knowledge: Things are beginning to get real nasty in the USA political scene: Religious bigotry is popping up its ugly head. They are going after Mitt Romney because he is a member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints. What has this to do with Statesmanship?

knowledge: Why is it that everything our government does it hurts the poor people. Then, these same citizens, who have been kicked in the face, turn around and put them back in office?

knowledge: I became a sad American with our dummying down of our children when we started multiple choice tests in our schools. The teachers started teaching our children how to make the most likely choice. "Well, from our example, you know that (A) and (C) can't possibly be the right answer; so now you have just (B) and (D) to choose from. Thus you have a 50% chance of being right, instead of only a 25% chance!" Your child is spending valuable education time learning how to choose (A), (B), (C), or (D). Not absorbing the subject matter! With the many government tests that they have to take now days and the school being graded on them, it is no wonder that they pay more attention on how to take a test than actually learning in the classroom. knowledge: That Day I was a Sad American:

I remember the politicians that went around the world apologizing for America; saying that we were some how at fault for our country being attacked on nine-eleven. I thought: where is the proud American citizen? Why are these politicians allowed to say such disrespectful things about our country? That day I was a sad American.

I remember politicians that said, "We have no right to protect the world. We must let every country do their own thing, they can even have nuclear bombs and atomic missiles if they so choose." They said this about the worst despots of our world. That day I was a sad American

I remember when politicians stood up in congress and said, "We must take from the rich and give to the poor." That day I was a sad American.

I remember when thugs stood outside of America's voting booths and intimidated citizens that came to cast their vote. Also the time when Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cast their votes; that day I was a sad American.

I remember our government takeover of American banks and American industries, that day I was sad American.

I remember when our government rewrote our children's school class books inserting more about movie stars in our history texts, while saying less about our nations Forefathers. I remember the time I tried to find our United States Declaration of Independence and its Constitution in those textbooks and failed. That day I was a sad American.

I remember the day that a student with poor and failing grades was allowed to graduate from college because of his ethnic background and not for his grades. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when teachers were reprimanded and threatened with the loss of their jobs if they put up pictures of our Forefathers praying. I remember when students were threatened with being expelled if they bowed their heads and said a prayer of thanks over their meals, or said a prayer at their graduation. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when Christmas carols could not be sung in schools. When "Merry Christmas" could not be said in stores and when Christmas was called a winter holiday. Kids and adults couldn't wear religious symbols or when Christmas trees and decorations were banned from being displayed in stores. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when Illegal Aliens took over American jobs causing American citizens to lose their livelihood. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when Illegal Aliens took over our hospitals and caused many of them to go out of business because of lack of funds to take care of American citizens. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when that our boarder patrol officers were tried and found guilty of protecting American Citizens. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when brave American Soldiers that gave their lives for our freedoms had their funerals desecrated by rebellious people. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when prisoners of war were given the same rights that American citizens have. They could be tried in civil court instead of before a military tribunal. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when enemy prisoners of war were freed and went back to fight American soldiers. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when American flags were burned in public in this country. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when good Americans lost their property for the public good. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when American businesses left America and went to foreign nations as they were being taxed out of operation. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when it became OK to display filth in our museums and call it art. It was also OK to show X-rated films in our schools, theaters, and internet and call it freedom of speech. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when it became OK for our professors and teachers to preach anti American lessons to our students. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when a United States President appointed anti Americans to his cabinet and presidential advisers. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when our American Rights were slowly being taken from us by our elected officials. That day I was a sad American.

I remember the day that I could no longer trust the people that we elected to represent us. The day I felt that I was no longer represented by our congress. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when we became insolvent nation and spent our children's inheritance for many generations. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when we began building roads and bridges to nowhere. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when we became welfare state as people lost their pride in self-sufficiency. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when millions of babies' lives were worth nothing as they were aborted. That day I was a sad American.

I remember when marriage was not sacred anymore. That day I was a sad American.

I remember the Ruby Ridge, Idaho and Waco, Texas government massacres. That day I was a sad American.

I just heard from FoxNews that over 40,000 drs. have said they will quite when the health bill clicks in! Welcome Government Health Care. This day I was a sad American.

I remember the day that I sat down to write this post and found so many more things that I could site for being a sad American. I realize that I am only touching the surface of this topic. As I write this tears of sorrow are falling down my cheeks. This day I wept for my country America.

(The quotes that I have written my not be exact but they are true to the meaning of those who said them. This is not written in any date line of order. This post consists of nine hundred ninety-eight words.)

Jean Lutz: Thank you for an excellent commentary on our time. I say it is time to take a stand, but first we must turn to 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, among whom my Name is called upon, do humble themselves, and pray and seek my presence, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear in heaven and be merciful to their sin, and will heal their land. (1599 Geneva Bible)

Jonez08: Well said. Today, I am troubled by where this country is headed. It's not about a specific party, it's about the principle and character of our leaders. But thank God, we have a father above that can rise above the rhetoric below. Thanks so much for sharing. Cassandra

LYLE: Bush II was an idiot, but Obama is bright and is a little left of Stalin in his directions and beliefs. Of course, he laughs at those who say this and makes jokes about them, but believe me, he is not a joke. He is deadly serious in his goals. He can wipe out two hundred years of history in four years by "spreading the wealth" in exchange for rights and freedom.
Then we will all cry with you.

knowledge: I have some elderly German friends that my wife and I see constantly. They went through WW II in Germany. They fear for the USA, telling us this is exactly what Hitler did when he took over Germany and caused millions of good Germans and foreign soldiers who fought for and against him to die. This happened not only from war wounds but from starvation and gas chambers. They have told us of his purification of the race ordering the murder of the mentally and physically handicap to those same gas chambers and burying or burning their bodies.
