The Brit's Wife is in the process of reinventing herself. She believes it's often referred to as a midlife crisis but prefers to think of it as an unexpected dance with poetic destiny. Please bear with her as she practices the steps.
Words are like arrows, once shot they never return and are just as deadly.

TheBritsWife: I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and support for "Sonnet for a Poet Grieving", which I wrote for my beloved friend and mentor, Jarlsbane aka Michael Cotner. Jarls suddenly passed away at the end of June, and I miss him terribly. He was an outstanding poet, fabulous teacher and beautiful human being. He taught me so much and left a legacy of amazing work. God bless you, Michael. I'll always carry you in my poems and in my heart.
