My poetic muses spring from the same source, but often flow to the surface in diverse streams. i like to take a moment of intense experience and examine that in poetry. Whether the beauty of bliss, the hexes of hatred, or the infinite spaces between, there are so many moments to be filtered through language! But there's a separate muse that comes now and then and possesses me, and when the pen finally drops, eye feel as if eye have molded the clay of reality in some way. It's abstract, but eye am a big fan of the abstract. Like seeing auras, dissolving clouds, being in the moment, and feeling the undefined genesis of creation animate my actions... Anyway, my candle burns down, and i wax ecstatic...

gabriowl: I think that exciting burst on suggested reviews that says 50% chance of winning a 'member cent pump' is full of it. Over the last few days I've done 12 of those, and only gotten 2 pumps out of it. Very rarely have I flipped a coin and had it go 10-2 Tails! I will continue to pour myself into each review, and trust that my review karma will get to evening up the score ; ) It has a ways to go to catch up!

Cobalt Blue: If you look at the bottom of the story or poem you are reading it will tell you the true odds. The little blip beforehand is rarely right, usually saying 50%. Generally what I see is 25% for poems, 50% for stories.

nor84: Sometimes, that's the way it goes, and then you'll get several MCPs in a row.

gabriowl: I noticed that at the bottom of writings too, but then why have a burst that's misleading? I've been taking the time (lots of it) to review stories and chapters, and it would be nice if the ratio was even close to advertised. I'm up to about 5 out of 25+ now

gabriowl: My activity here on FS will be dominated by reviewing over the next couple of days. I have a couple of new poems that I'm VERY excited to share, but I want to be able to give them the proper promotion... So get yer readin' glasses on, Gabriel, and prepare to bathe in many great muses! ; )

gabriowl: WOW - you really have to do a lot of reviewing to even promote one poem! That's OK - it makes me choose wisely, instead of erratically. Just know that my reviews are heartfelt, honest, and crafted with the best of intent. I actually read and respond to what you have written. Thank you for reading and all the heartfelt responses as well!

gabriowl: HA!! Some would say I'm always GONE, but I would say that the lack of thoughts keeps my mind free for channeling the random streams of collective consciousness. And here, I've run myself into an eddy, and now I'm spinning, wondering what to say next... ; )

gabriowl: OK. I know I'm an obscure and abstract poet, but I can't help writing in multiple layers. The malleability of English seems infinite when the pen is poised... So, I invite you to make what you will of my poetry, and questions are always encouraged!
