kiwigirl2821: A tiny bit of historical information ... did you know when I joined FanStory you were the very first piece of writing that I read. I don't always review your work but I read a lot of it. You have a unique voice and just wanted you to know, I enjoy listening to it through your words. Have a great day Alan. :) deborah

Alan K Pease: Thank you deborah for this kind review of my writing and put you square in the middle of people I like. Others have said that I am unique and I always taken it with a grain of salt. Thank you for joining my profile page.

LeslieP5: Hi Alan, as a poet and peace activist, I resonate with your concerns about the future of mankind and our world. I invite you to drop by my page here. I'm pretty new on the site. I have two peace poem websites and have some free verse poems on peace I hope to publish. I am not sure where to submit them though so if you have any suggestions as to where they'd be appropriate, please let me know. I checked a few online but quality was not good. I'd like to figure out a mainstream publication to submit them to. You have a varied and interesting background. Your profile also reminded me of Vroom (user name) a former poet friend on another site, who was stationed at a remote island in the Indian ocean.

June Estep Fiorelli: The fun is never knowing where poetry leads one. I have been writing since i was in grammar school. I am much older than you, and new things still happen. I submitted some poems recently, and am invited to do a reading of my poems at the lovely, active Bookstore1 in Sarasota, with follow up discussion. There will even be a poster with my picture and bio. Who knew?

Robin Priebe: Hi Alan,
1) You write with your heart, not your head.
2) Choose your poetic writing style and master it.
3) As you are doing, always be open to advice.
Best wishes, Rob

Robin Priebe: Alan, thanks for the glimpse of eternity, captured in the verse of The Song of Friendship. Over 1300 years old this poem resonates with the depth of feeling of two persons whose personalities are glued with common attitudes and common values. When this is transposed into poetry and matted into the walls of life, the structure stands eternally.
Best wishes,
Rob
