How am I? Didn't you hear? George Orwell's novel, '1984', has been designated an official owner's manual for our up-and-coming New World Order. Could only be a rumour. Or a joke. I'll bat for the joke today because I'm feeling lazy and it avoids reality altogether.
Ask me tomorrow.

"It is said that wisdom comes with age, but with openness and scepticism, the key principles of the scientific method, we don't need decades of trials and error to sort out which of our convictions may be improbable. The question is not whether our beliefs are right or wrong, but whether or not being emotionally attached to them is more or less likely going to benefit us. There is no such thing as a free choice while being emotionally attached to a belief system. The moment we are self-aware enough to realize this, we can truly work together to figure out the real odds of what will benefit us the most."

EXAMINE EVERYTHING about the biggest influences with the most longevity ...... in plain sight ......

I live in hope that people will keep in mind that many 'celebrities' are possibly even bigger victims than the rest of us, and especially the youngest. All of their choices have been taken away. They're entitled to freedom from pain as much as we are. Liberate them. Don't stone them to death. That's not fair.

Rest easy, Anna Nicole. It's Coming.

Thanks to those who listened to me :) Good journey xxxx ... now fly

I can't muster up anything past disgust for those of our world, in any setting, who mimic our biggest abusers and compound the atrocities we're already subjected to, then pontificate over the mess we're in. Offering respect to people like that is laughable, demanding it, ludicrous. Who's crazy? Fortunately, there are millions upon millions of others who are warm, sincere and proactive in trying to alter, in large ways and small, such destructive behaviour.

So which one is "mad" to you?

The newsreader, drenched, fatigued, outraged and insistent? Or the fine father, sitting cosy while upstanding, out of the rain and trouble, glancing at his young daughter in that persuasive, dismissive way over his friend?

I think she looks frightened. Turn it into awareness, kiddo, and then don't turn away. Makes sense to me. But then, what do I know?

Writing "talent" is worthless when it seeks crowd pleasing applause and nothing else. Ask Stephen King, he'll tell you the truth. Perhaps. And how is escaping active life through the fantasy of a book, which takes hours to read, any different to escaping through XBox or other technology? It's a thought.

Network - Mad As Hell Scene - 1976 (almost forty years ago already; that's an entire generation)

Is it just me, or do too many people not connect the dots in The Literature Sting, as I think of it? I know that's a lot of dots because it's been going on since the advent of written language, yet ... .

Could be a rash suggestion, but I believe plenty of people don't understand metaphors as they should, or other symbology, for specific reasons. That counts when you consider how influenced we are by symbols, so saturated in them.

We began with symbols, markings. The first thing to coincide with that was to divide and categorise people into those who could understand the symbols and those who had to take the word of others for genuine meaning. Instant power for the educated, clever dicks.

Next came words and sentences, etc, and the instinctive, natural creativity of human beings expanded. It was still heavily metaphorical, the divisions stronger.

After that, "common" people were included in education (basic and superficial learning) to expand the slave trade into more areas. Social divisions became chasms.

Religion also became more powerful and profitable through the ability to read and trusted preachers who knew how to misinterpret at will.

The other quiet, vital underbelly plan kicked in at the same time. Longevity's their King and the secret powers that be knew how easy it was to persuade and steer mass thinking, in those scholars'/politicians' "knowledgeable" ways. So they set the template by seducing us into an addictive need for escapism through mesmerising, beautiful work, then modified it over a steady period of time. Simplified it. Dumbed it all down, while the need for escapism increased.

Over the same period, subliminal symbols were plastered everywhere to assist literature, media, etc in the big sting. A slow indoctrination happened without most realising it, using Hollywood and the music industry in particular (about the only thing the commercial music industry is useful for is song looping; very motivational for writing when your mind is set on a particular premise and the chosen music keeps it travelling in that same direction -- just a tip). Otherwise, it was and is mostly rubbish designed to turn us away from the simple things that really do count. Publishing houses set premises, promoted the agendas of all other linked industries, and people followed, indoctrinated to the hilt. Insider trading became a burden for all (always a bonus to gain open confirmation of it going on anywhere, wherever possible).

Everything's done for profit, so methodologies have always been multi-dimensional. Two-year-olds were soon able to impress others through their ability to match an adult's more simplified language skills, and especially through modern technology. "Adulthood" became increasingly impersonated by children. Kiddies soon joined consumer demands, offering more seedy profits, for items on sale like tiny little girls' padded pre-teen bras for extra reinforcement of acceptability.

Subliminal suggestion is very dangerous, but we buy into it all the time.

A simple example of how easy it is could be my twin sons, when babies. While pregnant with them, I decided 7:00 PM would be a great time to get them down to sleep once born, if I could. I'd rather shoot a TV than watch a soapie, but turned it on every night for the theme song of "Home and Away", a catchy tune with soothing tones, purposely "homely", then switched it off. I did the same after they were born, and it soon became their bedtime without me pushing for it. Theme song, hunger, a feed, cuddles and burps, change, more cuddles, and bed. Regular habits or stimulants create triggers in the same way advertisements do, and therefore routine our behaviour.

We're subliminally suggested to every day and night, and it works without us realising it, in a blanket sense, the same as with my babies. It puts us to sleep on our feet or seat. Collectively, literature presents itself as one thing while being an entirely different thing altogether through longevity, and it pays to be onto it. My imagination? Maybe :) Pretty sure it's not the first time it's been suggested, though. I know I'd rather understand all the code speak to make my own choices and do my own thinking. But that's me.

Now I really should get my cocky match-for-match butt outta here, after overseeing the contest I posted until the finish, of course.

I will.

Congratulations, Miss Cookie :)) I didn't vote, no bias, but that poem was my pick. I always did believe in you as one of the special Elders in the house. Okay, a teeny bit of bias *shrug* So shoot me. Good onya for saying No! at the right times. I'm sure you earned it. Go on in peace, and Bless you xx Alyx

Special thanks to the rest of you guys who entered into the spirit of it, and all worthy entries. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

I'll miss everyone. Thank you :))))))))))))))

... Rest peacefully now, Daniel. We're still working hard on it, mate. I stood next to your father one day in the mower shop, after you were slain. Fine man, your father; strong xx

They slaughtered another little girl. They got what they wanted. Needed.

But she went down fighting, damn it!

If you truly love all of those little children, truly, you'll *kick* Their arses out of our Kingdom.

We're out of time.

Just Alyx: "When you combine the science of recognising deception with the art of looking, listening, you exempt yourself from collaborating in a lie. You start up that path of being just a little bit more explicit because you signal to everyone around you; you say, 'Hey - my world, our world - it's going to be an honest one. My world is going to be one where truth is strengthened, and falsehood is recognised and marginalised.' And when you do that, the ground around you starts to shift just a little bit. And that's the truth." - Pamela

Just Alyx: History proves that callous and costly egotistical, greedy wars are always exacted upon the majority by men. Screw you. Figuratively. I'm fed up with your damned man's world.

It will take all of the femininity we can muster, within all of us, male and female, to pull us through the dire trouble we're in, and we have to start now.

The Video The Pentagon Doesn't Want You To See: [6:00] Humanitarian Speech ...

We have an obligation to every last victim of this illegal aggression because all of this carnage has been done in our name.

Since World War II, NINETY PERCENT of the casualties of war are unarmed civilians, a third of them CHILDREN.

Our victims have done nothing to us. From Palestine to Afghanistan, to Iraq, to Somalia, to wherever our next target may be, their murders are not collateral damage, they are the nature of modern warfare.

They don't hate us because of our freedoms. They hate us because *every* day we are funding and committing crimes against humanity.

The so-called war on terror is a cover for our military aggression to gain control of the resources of Western Asia.

This is sending the poor of this country to kill the poor of those Muslim countries. This is trading blood for oil. This is genocide, and to most of the world, we are the terrorists.

In these times, remaining silent on our responsibility to the world and its future is criminal, and in light of our complicity in the supreme crimes against humanity in Iraq and Afghanistan, and ongoing violations of the UN Chartered International Law, how dare any American criticize the actions of legitimate resistance to illegal occupation.

Our so-called enemies in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, our other colonies around the world, and our inner cities here at home, are struggling against the oppressive hand of Empire, demanding respect for their humanity. They are labelled insurgents or terrorists for resisting rape and pillage by the white establishment, but they are our brothers and sisters in the struggle for justice.

The civilians at the other end of our weapons don't have a choice. But American soldiers have choices, and while there may have been some doubt five years ago, today we know the truth.

Our soldiers don't sacrifice for duty, honor, country. They sacrifice for Kellogg Brown and Root. They don't fight for America, they fight for their lives and their buddies beside them because we put them in a warzone. They're not defending our freedoms, they're laying the foundations for fourteen permanent military bases to defend the freedoms of Exxon Mobil and British Petroleum.

They're not establishing democracy, they're establishing the basis for an economic occupation to continue after the military occupation has ended.

Iraqi society today, thanks to American *help*, is defined by house raids, death squads, checkpoints, detentions, curfews, blood in the streets, and constant violence.

We must dare to speak out in support of the Iraqi people who resist and endure the horrific existence we brought upon them through our bloodthirsty Imperial crusade.

We must dare to speak out in support of those American war resisters, the real military heroes who uphold their oath to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic, including those terrorist cells in Washington DC, more commonly known as the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches.

Frederick Douglass said, "Those who profess to favour freedom, and yet depreciate education, are people who want crops without ploughing the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the roar of its many waters."

The struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, or it may be both, but it must be a struggle.

Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never has and it never will.

Every one of us, every one of us must keep demanding, keep fighting, keep thundering, keep ploughing, keep seeking, keep struggling until justice is served.

No justice, no peace.
No justice, no peace.

'Numerous victims/survivors of Project MONARCH are in desperate need of help. However, the great majority of people are too preoccupied with themselves to show any genuine compassion toward these severely wounded individuals. Apathy has taken over the minds of the masses, who choose to exist within the comforts of this world. Reality has thus become obscured by relativism and selfishness." -- Ron Patton

"The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold." - WB Yates

"Our politics and media need outsiders or inspirational 'amateurs' with the enthusiasm and knowledge of their chosen field. We need people whose worldview is rounded not narrowly expert. People, whose judgement is calm and perceptive, people whose actions are aligned with a good intent. People who - when needed - are prepared to step up as leaders even if they are not the leader in terms of position. These are the people who know the centre isn't holding."
