I have been writing for several years, but have been taking it seriously as of late. I hope to get published one day soon. I'm a big fan of Edgar Allen Poe, Charles Dickens, P.G. Wodehouse, Cassandra Clare and J.K. Rowling.

Tegan1311: I love to write. I have soooo many notebooks full of stories that I've started but never finished. I've been writing for about 6 years and I love every minute of it. I have 2 finished novels and probably 20+ unfinished ones. I have to say that joining this website and having people read some of what I've written has given me a renewed vigor to write more often. I've kind of fallen off lately. So to everyone who has or will read any of my writing, you have my sincere gratitude! As you can see by my pic I'm a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. I've read all the novels and most of the short stories. The British tv show is so good. If you haven't seen it, you should.

THE FREAK: I‚??m glad too. I just hope you can return the favour. And yes, i did and experiment to see the possible outcome of self publication, and from a lot of authors on the site including myself; it has not done well. In my complete opinion, don‚??t bother with self publishing. There is no money in it, unless your work has been substantially edited, illustrated and had it reviewed by well known critiques. If not... Don‚??t bother! In my opinion, build up a healthy portfolio and get more fans than ‚??Andrew Pearl.‚?? She has over a thousand. A thousand times a Kindle/Nook $5 novel royalty report equals... Hello Agent!!!
If you are still interested in going down the self publishing root; there are many websites to choose from. Just a word of advice, a lot of writers on this site proclaim their work is solicited. When you have done the research i have; a keen eye never lies. Just because it is illustrated and edited by freelancers, doesn‚??t make it professional!
Here are the sites for self publishing for Kindle/Nook and Ereaders...
