garrymc5: My second novel 'Forgetting and Remembering' is complete. Based on real events, this is a tale of an outback Australian town where indigenous Australian struggle for their dignity and livelihoods as the nation approaches its Bicentenary, 200 yrs of European settlement and occupation. It is main character is Kev, and unlikely hero who seeks harmony and fraternity amongst townspeople. So when a Bicentennial official disappears from town, Kev plays detective. But at what cost, as the forces of prejudice, the police and authority -and History itself- see Kev and other kooris as threats to their ambitions.
