RogerDodger: I have been very busy refurbishing computers. Now that I have a surplus in stock, maybe I can get back to creating some more stories.

DIS-illusioned: 'stoce' must be a very happy place.

    RogerDodger: Thanks, You're funny.

RogerDodger: I was hoping that my writing would mean something to someone besides me. Sorry for sharing to a site that does not care. I am gone.

RogerDodger: Every time I start writing a story and go back to edit it, It seems uninteresting to me, then I delete it. It seems that sometimes I expect too much.

nor84: Learn to ignore your inner editor, the little voice that says, "This is dull, I hate it." Save the writing. You may look at it in a few days, see what you didn't like, and fix it.

RogerDodger: Thank you for the great advice. I am learning to do that.

RogerDodger: I need to get over this "writer's block."
November 5, 2012 at 1:31PM
Aaron James: So write about it. Poem or prose anything. What is writer's block? What does it do? How does it hinder you? What would you rather do than suffer? You may not produce a masterpiece but at least it will get you writing again.

DIS-illusioned: Try using a chisel to cut around it. :-p

RogerDodger: I guess it was just one guy that did not seem to like me, for unkown reasons.

RogerDodger: Sometimes I feel like my writing is not very well liked!

RogerDodger: I wrote a contest entry for a contest that ends shortly, but can not afford the member dollars to enter.
October 24, 2012 at 9:16PM
janalma: Could you enter it in a site contest, which is free?
    October 24, 2012 at 9:25PM
RogerDodger: I don't know. I wrote it after reading a writing prompt. It says there is a fee to enter. I am trying to do enough reviews to get enough member dollors so this will not happen again.
    October 24, 2012 at 9:45PM
adewpearl: Most of the contests cost $5 to enter - you only have to review five poems that pay a buck or more to earn the entry fee. That really should not be much of a chore.
    October 24, 2012 at 10:10PM
RogerDodger: I am not a poet and try to review stories, because I have more knowledge in that field. I am getting there as far as member dollors go. I don't think I can give good criticism on something I know little about. I am learning though.

RogerDodger: I have always wrote essay and short stories, if I wrote at all. I find this site makes me feel more like writing.
October 22, 2012 at 8:42PM
DIS-illusioned: A writing site that makes you feel more like writing? ... Isn't that just predictably boring? Let's try baking a cake here.
    October 22, 2012 at 8:51PM
RogerDodger: I have never done any writing for others to read and defiantly not to have others review. I do not think your comment was nice.

RogerDodger: I really enjoy writing about my lifes experiences, especially about my motorcycle rides, but the writing is still a brand new thing to me.
