I will soon be working on my Master's Degree, in Creative Writing. I may not have as much time to devote to Fanstory, but I am surely not going away. I was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado. I now live in Denver. I have been writing since I was 12 years old, when I took two important classes -- Jack London, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I find writing to be a labor of love (I know how cliche), but cliches are cliches because their is some truth to them. When I face a blank page, it is like the beginning of labor pains. You hope what you produce will be healthy. When I have the finished work, it is all worth it, and I'm ready to do it all over again. I am a Christian, believing Jesus died to save us from ourselves. I pick the shortest verse in the Bible, not because its the only verse I remember, but because I think is shows Jesus's compassion for us. If you read the quote in context, you will understand. My little family is made up of my husband (a non-believing Unitarian/Universalist) so I don't have a mind that is closed like a steel trap; more like a velvet glove. And our puppy (though she is already a year old we still refer to her as "Puppy"). Although perhaps the love of my life (besides Christ) is my grown daughter.
