INFORMATION
Barb works at the local food bank volunteering her time at the country market. Barb has lived just about every profession there is to do. She has had a wild ride in her lifetime and uses poetry to tell everything. She is a cancer survivor. She hates abuse to animals...the innocent ones. She hates what is being done to the planet. Mother Earth is not well. She loves cats, big and small. She belives spirits are watching over us. She loves to laugh through her pain. She will never understand people.

Barb Hensongispsaca: When my sons died I remember the words I hated to hear, "I know how you feel". Even if someone loses six at one time, no one walked my shoes and knew me. The next words I learned to hate were, "I'll be here, just call." The third words were, "Now you have closure." Leave all those out and you can comfort. Thank you fanstory reviewers for the wonderful reivews and support.

Barb Hensongispsaca: For those of you that know me and are concerned, the MRI came back negative so now they are planning to try a nerve block at the base of my skull. Ice packs help me function but nothing takes the pain away and I refuse to become a walking zombie on drugs. Thank you for your prayers and for caring. 'Jasper Hill' is still running rampant in my blood stream but God is good and we are still fighting it. I love you all.

Barb Hensongispsaca: I apologize for not reviewing as I should and not posting as usual. I am fighting a cluster migraine headache that will not respond to medication and no one seems to find the source. It is going on two weeks now and I have an MRI scheduled for Tuesday. I hope to be back reviewing soon. Thank you dear friends

Barb Hensongispsaca: I don't know how many of you remember my poem of Jasper Hill. That is the name I gave to my cancer so that I would feel more in control of the situation. Well, Jasper Hill has reared his ugly head again and I will be gone for a little while to get control of my life again. My love to all of you and my thanks for all you do to help me in my writing endeavor.

mrsmajor: It seems life isn' t always the way we would like it to be...I do have some serious medical problems, which I deal with through the Grace of God....But just this week, I was told that I have breast cancer and will have to have surgery...My daughter just recovered from Breast cancer surgery too..I can only say what has been my support...Prayer...I know many don't believe in that, but God has allowed me to deal with a great deal...so I wish only the best for you...and I will Pray that you will be able to deal with the return of the Jasper Hill...I hope he leaves you alone, never to bother you again...A smile always helps me, and so I say to you, Smile as often as you can...be hopeful and God will be with you to see you through this too...Hugs!

    jlsavell: Barb,

To you and Victoria. When faced with difficulties, we often find a certain strength we didn?t realize we had. Cancer is a diagnosis which frightens us all, but I truly believe it?s the power of the human spirit and will which demands we first accept the truth and circumstance, and then gather our determination to give it all we have to fight. My thoughts and energy of good will, courage, and healing are sent to you both.

We live in such an-opportune age of astounding knowledge and understanding to aid us in such a journey should it knock on our doors. Please take care
    August 22, 2019 at 4:19PM
karenina: Damn that Jasper Hill anyway! I don't know you, but I've faced three battles with cancer...each time with years of remission in between. They can carve me, chemo me, radiate me--but like you I am determined to take control of my journey and will fight as I know you will to live to fight another day! My healing prayers and good vibes are flowing to you... Give Jasper Hill hell!--Karenina

Ms. Snyder: The best way our community could help Country that I can think of at this point would be to support her book on Amazon, ?The Blue Store?. I know that any financial assistance would be something that she would never personally ask for: and Michael Cahill before he passed, was desperately trying to help her and her husband raise money. She is a good person. I know she has been through a lot. If you have the means to help, this would be a way to do so. Also maybe write a review after you read and get her book. Cheers, Fonda
