INFORMATION
Born in Brooklyn, New York. I was an official for a large bank in NYC, but couldn't stand the commute and the winter weather. I moved to Florida. After leaving The Sunshine State, I moved around a bit and landed in Texas with a thud. Been here ever since.
Retired since mid 2011, I own a quaint home in a small rural town in southeast Texas with wife, Sharon (she is, the wind beneath my wings), and a calico cat, Peanut, along with a lot of wild animals, and birds (nature's zoo to behold and enjoy).
Now that I'm older, I go by the saying, "LIVE EACH DAY AS YOUR LAST, ONE DAY IT WILL BE!"

joneau2: I have penned six books. Editing is a perpetual condition, and updated editions are common. All are fiction, with a few non-fiction stories mixed in. The first was "The Secret of Big Pine Key," followed by "The Realm Beyond, " then "How's it By You Too? and "Fish Heads, Tails, Tales," "The Search for Moby Piscavores," and "Poems, Puzzles, and Short Stories (which includes the writings I've posted here on FanStory)."
All are available in digital or soft cover format on Amazon.com, and it's company CreateSpace.com, as well as other outlets internationally. I run promotions often, so check with Amazon.com.

lindalcreel: I wanted to give you an update on some of the agents who are looking for manuscripts. You can go to writer's digest and they have a list, or 1000 literary agents and they can tell you who is accepting manuscripts for your genre and also if they accept email queries. If you want to see some successful queries, you can go to Janet Reid's site query shark and read the archives. She's brutal but people get agents by using her advice. Also Agent Query is another source if you haven't seen them. you ca submit a query and have it critiqued by other writers. They helped me tremendously and though I had requests for full and partial manuscripts, I realize now how much editing I needed to do before I submitted. Also not sure if you know about Amazon's breakthrough novelist contest for self-published e-books. You can find the information on the create-space page. It doesn't cost anything. Writer's Digest is also offering a contest but they want $99.00 and a physical copy of the book. If you haven't self-published, I would go to 1000 literary agents. There are several great agents there and many of them will request a query and anywhere between 10 to 50 pages of the manuscript to get a feel for your voice. H inadvertently deleted the email I got that gave the names of the agents. But you'll be able to find quite a few who love mystery's. :)
