oct 2017, i was male when i first joined, but my brain gender is female, this is being delayed to be physical, as i had a near fatal heart attack 11 weeks ago with cardiogenic shock, 4 stents put in and awaiting another op for estimated 2 more stents. but doing all that surgeon suggested, so fingers, legs, and eyes all crossed!i love comedy although ironically perhaps, most of what i write is of life experiences either personally experienced or seen
i think,therefor, i am

muezza56: as my current membership is coming to an end (I wont be renewing just yet) I'd like to thank 99% of those that have given me a review and helpful guidance on my work. since I joined I have submitted 51 poems/writings and received 901 reviews (I like doing stats!) as follows: 1x1*-1x2*-9x3*-37x4*-818x5*-35x6*.
unfortunately for me, I do sweat the 'small stuff', which is daft, but it's my Achilles Heel (should wear more comfortable shoes!) anyway, thanks. all the best and peace and love, Jem x

I am Cat: Did you actually go through every single one of those and count them? Or is there a stat page somewhere to get those stats?

In any case...we'll be sorry to see you go... *waves*.... come back soon! ;)

muezza56: example of trollisms that are allowed
Comment from korpchop

Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

I do not understand this poem. I do not recognize the purpose of the title, nor how the lines relate to it. Can 3 lines really be a poem?
this was an entry into a Lune poetry comp. "Absinthe Minded" it received 87 reviews (thank you to the other 86! = 2x6 + 84x5) but the aforementioned x1 gave it just 1. ive been to their page today, and still there is just a blank 2 years later. this is quite obviously a troll, and we all get them, and when they are as obvious as this one, then surely they should be removed, as they have no relevance to this site. my gripe is now done (hooray!) all the best, Jem

nor84: The name you give isn't listed when you try to find it doing a search on the site. If you have a problem, send a message to the site administrator.
    September 5, 2015 at 2:25PM
michaelcahill: It isn't an active member, just a great example of someone that didn't post anything but had a HUGE opinion to throw around. If you type the name in search you can fine him.
    September 5, 2015 at 3:51PM
nor84: OK, I found the name. Standard member, not a paying one. You can send a note to the site administrator and request the review be removed. My advice would be to block standard members every time you post something. Some are good reviewers, some are like this one. Read the advanced options when you post and there's a place to block nonwriters.

muezza56: thank you so much nor84 and michaelcahill for your help. it's scary stuff, I can't comprehend the mentality of why anyone would even bother doing this. Ive been told I think too much, it's true,. but that's just the way I am. ce la vie. I did respond at the time,to the review in question, but was advised to stick to procedure
    September 5, 2015 at 8:03PM
michaelcahill: I can give all the wise advice in the world, but to be honest, I go nuts when I get a review like that too. :) It's just the worst. Believe me, we all understand!

muezza56: I know nobody will read my status but sometimes, when I'm bored, I get wrapped up in my tutu, put a giant horn on my head, lather sparkles all over myself and prance around the kitchen pretending I'm a magical unicorn
September 2, 2015 at 5:07PM
I am Cat: Hey! That tutu was supposed to be taken to the dry cleaners and mailed BACK to Mikey a month ago! Wasn't it Mikey? *stares* >:(

    September 2, 2015 at 6:56PM
michaelcahill: I'm used to lathering the sparkles and leaving it at that....
    September 2, 2015 at 7:58PM
    watergirl: Do unicorns wear tutus?
    September 2, 2015 at 9:37PM
michaelcahill: If they have ANY sense of modesty or decorum they do. But some of them are all about parading that horn around!
    September 2, 2015 at 10:13PM
I am Cat: *gasp* Say it isn't so! *blush*
    September 2, 2015 at 10:28PM
watergirl: expression is everything. the human condition speaks to the soul of another.
fun, philosify, communication, scream, help, art, paint, print, talk, stooping to someone on the street, here's coffee you look cold, hey, sister,'s all the same.....
    September 3, 2015 at 2:43AM
Michaelk: Sounds like you could do your own reality show. :)
    September 3, 2015 at 10:48AM

What's In a Name?

I am soon
Or so it's been said
To change my name
From Sandra to Fred

There's little reason
Nor is there much rhyme
It's simply to be done
Just to pass time

And maybe in a while
If I again get bored
I may change from a lady
And thence be a lord!

muezza56: i'm kerfuffled and confused, i thought the most important part of writing was the creativity of the writer, rather than the grammatical rules, which although valid to a point, surely one shouldn't lose direction of what the writer is actually writing about.said he losing direction!
February 9, 2013 at 4:14PM
adewpearl: Even though I teach the SPAG class, I completely agree that the creative component of your writing is more important. The technical side is what supports the creative side, and that is why people comment on it also in their reviews. If someone is trying to tell you spag is MORE important than creativity, they don't know what they're talking out.
