Iese: Everything is possible to fight against the bullying thoughts that everything is impossible.
November 30, 2013 at 7:31AM

Iese: WARNING!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!! WARNING!!!!!!
I'm an emotional poetry writer, and don't feel punctuations, when writing whats on my mind and in my heart. So I guest I will say here the advice given to me. For all my poems, "LACK OF PUNCTUATIONS ARE INTENTIONAL" All advice edits are welcome and appreciated.
Thanks to Google images for all their photos.
CONFUSED: How some can be so technical with editing and not see that my name starts with a I/ i, certainly not a L/ l (very different). Yet its unclear when I use u for you!!!
Don't stress though the misspelling of my name will not reflect my reviews of your work nor my opinion of you as a poet. I do not hold grudges :) And don't take it personal because if you read my reviews your not the first and wont be the last.

    Sapphire33: New poem (Ecstasy)
    April 27, 2015 at 5:08PM

Iese: Although, always a great student I was never a English Major, my BA is in Psychology. Well lets just say in high school I did not like English sometimes, but was always a honor roll student. Now with the electronic world, its not impossible that text etiquette leaks now in my writing, but never fear FANSTORY is here to remind me that it's not English appropriate no matter how much one understands my poem. I want to say thanks for that, because text etiquette can get a little contagious when you don't mean to write, u, instead of you. But I am working on it, bare with me.

Iese: I'm learning from other reviewers that I have a style. Never was familiar with any style, but the gift to express my feelings to overcome obstacles, or help others overcome their obstacles. I'm a newborn when it comes to all these styles of poetry on fanstory because the only style my youth understand is "can they understand it, or not?" I'm on here just to share my thoughts. Not to be a genius at any style. My only goal is to be a heartfelt poet in which everyone can relate to my message, and be bought to tears, or uplifted. Everyone has a story and everyday I am inspired to tell mine or someone else's.
If I took every rating personal I would either be conceited, or a carrier for low-self esteem, yet I am humble enough to know some get my message and others don't. Hell, that's just life, I'm fine with that.
If someone is putting their nose up at me with intent, like in my poem Mute the Naysayers, I just offer them a mint and watch it travel through their egotistical vent. A great Mentor once told me BE YOU!
September 5, 2013 at 2:51PM

Iese: Thank God I never stray from a tough crowd. Yet I have had much life experience and the toughest crowd is the youth I inspire everyday. They understand a written u, or you because they grasp the message; either way my poetry is a vehicle to help transcend their perceived limitations. I'm so proud of myself that I can be me as well as take criticism because whether exceptional, excellent, good, or indifferent my heart and passion can never be rated.

Jade Lawson : Hi, Iese. It is good to see your optimist and confidence in your writing. Always believe in yourself. However, you know, I want to become a published writer someday, and I feel that I already improved a lot, and it won't be the 5 or 6 stars who will help you to improve. I am thankful for all the 3 and 4 stars ratings that I received and pointed out my weaknesses. This is what Fanstory is all about, help you to improve and make friends. I can see the difference when I join in from now.

Iese: I'm never going to stop smiling because I have so much to be grateful for!
September 1, 2013 at 6:33AM

Iese: I'm here to express myself not so people can read what I express and take it out on me in my reviews. As if I'm too sensitive to hear the truth. If you like my work great, if not that's fine too. Either way neither defines me because someone else's opinion/perception does not have to be my reality. Some don't understand my world through my eyes and that is fine too. Life is full of diverse opinions, options, people, and lifestyles and we all move fluidly in one world. God Bless

Iese: Sometimes on here I feel out of place, like the realness of my voice leaves a bad taste. I speak from my heart, not always in any kind of structure. Yet, I have healed many with my words. I thought talent recognized talent. I feel like with some talent they feel as if you are beneath them, your only worth being their fan and them not reading your work. Birth me into a world where talent dance together. Where there's support for the newbie, or vet in any weather. Like Facebook we all want to be liked, starred excellent, or if lucky for the very few given out exceptional ratings, but that does not define who I am, nor the people my poems touch. In return they give me exceptional hugs, or make exceptional changes and strides in their life.
Many will not give my poetry a chance because of the ignorance in their heart, yet like Maya Angelou still I rise.
A legendary poet right before their eyes.
In the words of Tyra Banks watch me smize.

Iese: I was not a perfect student in English. I appreciate all the help with editing my poems. Someone told me my ranking would go down for such mistakes. Deep in my heart my talent speaks to those that wish to listen. If one missing comma, period, apostrophe, semi colon, or the fact I like to rhyme upsets you I am sorry. If you have a hard time understanding my message, I hope I can get through next time. However, those that understand thank you for your help and not being judgmental. I take the critiques and fix them with a smile, but when my emotions start to flow poetically I am sorry some of those things just are not as important at the moment. Rhyming is my style I don't complain about anyone else's style. I absolutely do not mean to offend those grammatically correct professionals. :)
I hope you enjoy my poetic journey and open your fan heart to another talent.
Thank you iese

Dean Kuch: Poetry should not be as subjective to the rigorous rules that prose is where punctuation is concerned. You know, poetic license, and all. However, to save yourself from answering a bunch of questions concerning whether or not you intended to leave the comma out of here, or the semi-colon out of there, simply say it in your author's notes, "Liberties with, and lack of punctuation are intentional". That let's you off the hook...

William Walz: Poetry is the opium of the masses--Marx. Or molasses is the opium of the farm folk. Something like that.

PoesyPoet: I think everyone most people here aren't here to intentionally hurt you, but genuinely want to help you to be the best writer you can be. I can tell, you are gifted and truly a talented young poet who will do well here. Welcome. PP

Iese: I appreciate all the positive feedback I am receiving. My mentor told me to commit to this site for at least a year because maybe I will see that my talent is not just a hobby and if others tell me then maybe I can see writing poetry is not something everyone can do with ease as I. I feel good because this the first time sharing my work on this level and people actually like it. :) thank you.

Saucey: Welcome my name is Sheri I go by Saucey on this site, let me personally invite you to read my gems and let's dance together. This is a great site for polishing up your writing skills. In the beginning I did not understand others chopping up my gems, I almost left. I was being real and it seem as though no one understood my realness. I thought they were suppose to just appreciate another talent. Thank God for those members who understood I was new LOL. I'm confident in who I am and passionate as a writer, I write from the heart--my experiences inspires me to write in order to help and bless others or just for others enjoyment which still helps. I will accept those who honestly review to sharpen my skills and the ones that don't I called them haters and haters sharpen my skills as well LOL. Reviewing other writers work stimulates them to read your work and vice versa we all are growing which stimulates more creativity:)
