A time of reflection signifies a time, a few years back, in honour, when my brother died, from his own hands, and my mother a few years before that of Cancer. One now reflects often about one's own life, as much the young innocents who die...those young by the hands of knives and guns or hate. How precious life is. Despite your troubles, CHOOSE LIFE...only one! 👣🌷

I love the freedom of expression where positivity is to the fore.

I deliberately did not post the above info for the near four years I have been, not to be judged, because, for the most, it is really irrelevant... to be understood should be based on what one offers at a relative time and the person you represent in the present. Yes, your past helps as it defines you, but it does not gurantee anything. Having been asked, in no uncertain terms, by one author, I decided to share a little of myself, I hope, in a curteous way, for information purposes. To be humble is a virtue which I love most. Many, over time, have asked a little and I have replied in some small way, for, believe it or not, holding back is not a weakness, but respect for privacy and respect for the present. Respect must be earned and can't be bought with titles. It is the doing that counts, and I prefer to let action speak, therby anything earned would rightly be earned. But! Though I am not 100% comfortable putting this info up, I hope it will be respected and not change your view as you know me, for you have known me first, before knowing of me, which is all I ever wanted.

I hope this will shine a little light on a part of me for those who may still wonder.

It is a pleasure being on site here. I have improved considerably with this chain of writing. Above all, I seriously say to new authors...continue here, you will improve, whether you think so or not...the same applies to old. Until another road calls, or the novelety becomes tedious or unable to longer thrive. The niggly bits do not come in nearness of the advantages that you can create yourself... with belief in your own ability and the passion to improve. But! Remember, you reap what you, sow well :)

It is a pleasure meeting the many of whom some are of personalities one would not take exception to doing anything for, in the way of help. Had I not been on this site, I could never have dreamed of writing the poetry I write now, and that is no understatement. Yes, time consuming, expensive, but as said, you get out what you put in. How longer will I be here? I do not know. Our lives determine much as well as the climate that provides motivation. But! I hope to continue improving, for I compete with none here, and never will. I am committed and resolute, in trying to bring the best in my writing to you as I further another chapter in this short life.

My best wishes.
If a moment is the last thing you leave, let it be of worth.

''My writing is compelled by things I see,
every picture that be, every sound in me.
every rose, every tragedy, every joy, every hate,
every love...for words are who I am.''

Suzanna Ray: Dear RG, I am re-writing this review because I think the first one did not go through.

This poem is absolutely beautiful. The recurring phrase of the Yellow Butterflies negates the Sin full things being done in the preceding stanzas. And in the end they bring joy and happiness.

RGstar: NOTHING IS SADDER THAN SONGS WHICH CANNOT BE HEARD,BEAUTY THAT CANNOT BE SEEN BUT FOR NOISE OF THE MADDENING CROWD THAT SCREAM ONLY TO ITSELF IN HOPE OF A GLORY WHICH ONLY ITSELF BELIEVES. So dull the path where concrete blocks replace flowers, where beauty of mind is forgotten, and all that is left is a staircase to a glory of which is not glorified... bound...though sad the sound...a desolate climb through own fear. But...there is hope that one day, the rhyme will appear, the flowers will grow, trees will once again know the reason they are trees, and so thrive, thus all around them shall appear new growth. Once again there will be joy in walking that path, where all things of beauty surround. Until then, dear friends, until then...

This Ordinary Day
not about you, but for friend August

Her Wisdom Of Words (the Poet)
Hands that will heal, guiding hearts to feel

A Day At The Beach
for my friend, The Marine

Rage (lament of the Queen)
'her songs shall be sung once again'

How precious then the view

A new beginning

When She Was Five
A daydream

And Did Those Feet
No stone again a spirit hold
