Smoothiecool: Just had major back surgery on the 19th Sept, now in rehab to continue my recovery after having spurs taken of, release of sciatic nerve, two screw place to hold vertebrae L4-L5 in place as L4 had moved 1mm forward. All going well up and walking without frame & doing seven lots of exercises three times a day. Still have a lot of pain but otherwise on track, so FS is limited as can only sit 30mins at a time. Hope to be back to full swing in a few weeks.
have a blessed day ...SC <:> Faye

Lulube: OMG your back is so much like mine. What did you do for a living when you were younger, physical type jobs? lol I never knew you could get the spurs removed. good to know. I wanted to get L4 and L5 fused but they said because I'm a smoker there was less than 50 percent chance that it would take because of the lack of oxygen. I wore the three vertebrae and ended up with hot spots. Can't move well at all. but one Dr. came up with, epideral, faucet injections, entering into the spine between the discs from the side, not straight on , the damn needle is about 10 inches long. Had 16 of them in one and half years, full of pain killers and steroids. The steroids inflate when they are hardening, thus separating the discs. It worked. I'm walking and living alone, back still has a lot of other problems but those three worn out vertebrae don't bother me any more.

Heads up, take it easy, thanks for letting us know whats up with you. Main thing is to keep moving so you don't cease up, but don't over do it, it will slow down the mending
