Lost our tortie cat Christmas Eve this year (2013) but the vet tried all they could. She'd had a great life with us though, she always came first, we were blessed to have her. Until we meet again at Rainbow Bridge I continue life with our tortie, as always, in my heart. xxx

Tortie Heart: I joined a year ago then demands of friends took away my time so I neglected this site when I love writing... just to say no-one should neglect something they love...because a love or talent should be nurtured. Sorry I went away, I apologise to myself as well since I'm slowly learning that growth and development come about when we listen to ourselves and turn away from distractions. Happy Christmas all xxx

Tortie Heart: Thank you and for your welcome Reachingforthestars:) Out tortie though had a great life and gave us much joy, now she is at the Rainbow Bridge, this side of heaven, safe and happy and waiting for us. I dedicate all my work here to her and my writing's just wonderful some people enjoy my work. That's a great reward and I hope to find more time to enjoy being on FanStory with other great people like yourself. Have a great day!

talahorse: Im so sorry for your loss, over the last few years since the move to QLD I have lost to old age both my Russian blues, and also two of my TB and Arab horses also died at 22, and 18 after long healthy competing lives and I still grieve, they were buried with coins on their eyes for the ferryman and with their rugs...I miss them sooo much and it isn't a replacement but I have to new tomcat that we got really young who is sooo possessive that he bailed up a stray dog that was wandering on the property to try and steal food and now the dog [we called him Conchar, gale for wolf] has become the cats pet, the cat tells the dog what to do and he wont even eat without the cat giving the okay...sometimes I think the ones we loose come back through others? I will have to write a short story about apple blossom and how that lead to my first horse as a teen. Good to be here and found you, hope to see more of your work. TALA
