marylou4: I am 67 years old and recently deaf. I can communicate via text messages or email.
I began writing for pleasure over 40 years ago. I began to seriously pursue a writing career about a year ago. Three of my poems have been published; a short story is currently being submitted to publishers.
Reunited is my first play. It reflects my own life in many ways. I am trying to embrace all writing forms and share what is in my heart with others. I know my gift of writing is from Jehovah. When I share this gift with others, it honors the gift-giver Jehovah.
My life is firmly established on this principle written in Matthew 7:12. Jesus always taught what he learned from his Father Jehovah. Love is not just the absence of doing wrong and hurting someone; it is the commission of doing and saying what is true, loving, good, generous and kind. I will use God?s to inspire, support, encourage and help others.
I am a retired school teacher of 25 years, who continues to teach, in other capacities.
I recently became deaf, a couple of years ago, at age 64. My deafness does not define me, but offers me the opportunity strengthen my relationship with Jehovah. I am excited to use my gifts from Jehovah to encourage, inspire and help others.
These gifts, I generously share with you. I seek not my interests first, but the interests of others. Philippians 2:4

mrsmajor: How much I appreciate your words, I'm also a retired school teacher, of 25 years or more, once we are Blessed with the ability to help others it is our responsibility to continue to do so...if only through our words, encouragement, and sharing...I'm now 80 ears of age, and yes in poor health, but Jehovah continues to Bless me, I'm so happy to still be able to give glory to His name through my words...What a joy, if only a few enjoy reading my words, that gives me pleasure...

It is Jehovah's words of unmatched wisdom, that has allowed me to be thankful for every Blessings...I have been a Witness to God's wonders for so many years, there is nothing more for me to do but, continue to praise and adore Him, as long as I am able...May Jehovah forever keep your name in His memory, and bring you peace, joy, and most importantly, Love!

marylou4: I am a self-published author as of today. I have been receiving very encouraging and positive feedback on my latest writing project; I decided to move forward with the publication.

I hope that I will hear from my fellow writers at fanstory regarding my children's book. I wanted to share my great news with you all.

Thank you for all your previous support and encouragement. Your honest review of my work is always appreciated.

My book is entitled: Ryan and Grandpa Save Franklin, Louisiana. I published an ebook on Amazon; it is available in the Kindle Store

    Thank from a grateful heart.
