An ex pat Brit who has lived here for many years. Always loved poetry, every poem tells a story. My life, poetical, political and otherwise is a work in progress......working on a few poetry projects, hope to post soon. It doesn't come easily.

onebrit: Writing is hard for me. I have lots of impending family stuff coming up soon and am a terrible procrastinator, but soon I hope. I love reading all you talented people!

pipersfancy: In my experience, 'terrible procrastinator' is sometimes code for 'everyone else's needs are far more important than my own'. Take some 'self' time... write something... tell us about your impending family stuff... (It might even help lighten your load, to share with others.) Take care!

Antoine Charlemaine: Welcome, Brit! I just poked my head in to see what you might be up to...perhaps soon? :) Looking forward to reading something from you soon.

onebrit: Currently my life consists of work, my sons upcoming wedding and figuring out how soon I can retire, buy a place by the sea and indulge my desire to live, love and learn by the sound of the water....the need for the ocean is a curse of all island born people!

Lovinia: A home by the sea, sounds good to me. I've moved to a seaside hamlet just north of Sydney, Australia. Not quite on the beach ... but very close. Used to be traffic jams and no parking on beach days in the city. Some days I have the beach to myself ..... aaaaah.

I have to agree with your statement ... just gotta laugh.
I really understand your need for the ocean ... though I love the Aussie Outback ... the sea's for me. Take care. Wishing you a happy wedding. I have three sons, and all that to come. LOL Hugs - Lovinia xoxo

Welcome to FS ... sounds like you've a lot on your hands .... love to read your posts when you have the time.

onebrit: Like all of us my life is a work in progress...some days less so than others. Lazy days, enjoying the last of the nice end of summer days. Also 2 weeks off work from a job I am so utterly over.....feeling so relaxed for a couple hours!
