I am new to this site, and I am an amateur writer by all accounts. I must say that navigating the concepts of this site will be a work in progress for me, but I joined because it looks fun, and I like to read creative things, particularly by 'non-professionals'...but also the classics as well. I like writing that pushes the envelope and takes me beyond expected boundaries. I will do my best at critiques, but my focus will be on how the work makes me feel or react more so than literary mastery.

Welcome to FS, I hope you enjoy your experience here ... many to assist you in finding your way ... don't be afraid to ask. Some talented writers and poets who will provide honest and reliable feedback for your writing while you in turn enjoy their work.
BTW - I've enjoyed your free verse, "Beginnings" very much. Seems you're entering FS with a BANG! lol. I recommend it to all lovers of free verse and I'm off to review it.
