Jesse James Doty:
I have a request for all those on Fanstory.
If you are going to play music when I click on your post, would you please put the words, 'Music embedded' in the line above your title? I would greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness and courtesy.
My reason is simple. I live in an apartment building and I do not want to disturb my neighbors while they sleep since I read and review most of the time in the early morning hours.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
Jesse

Ric Myworld: Congratulations on your great story and second-place ribbon! A vote or two and the color of a ribbon doesn't make anyone a winner or a loser. We are all winners just to have been in the contest and had the chance for fellow FanStorians to read our stories. Congrats again, my friend!

Have been recuperating in a hospital and then a nursing home.

and am slowly adjusting to my new life.
Please bear with me and understand
that although I am behind in participating,
it still feels good to know that you are there waiting for me...

trimple: Dear Jesse
My husband broke his neck c6/c7 27 years ago and is paralysed from the chest down. If any advice can be shared, it's to say live normally and just make allowances for the condition, rather than have it be the top priority in life.

This is a brief note for those who care about me. My eyes are compromised due to their muscle spasms. They hurt and my sight is dimmer. The doctor said it is stress-related, so I am working on ways to lower my stress level. I will keep you posted on my progress.
