My first book of poems 'Perfectly Imperfect' is again available after the competions . My next book, 'Ghost Land', should be out at a date to be arranged(before the fall) through a publisher. I often rhyme with unusual schemes. This is my own invention. I call it 'Flasé dah.'...A mixture between lah dee dah and blasé.
If you don't like it for whatever reason, that's cool- you will hate my work :) In 2016 I was a finalist in 'Poetry Rivals' with my poem 'Masterplan' and have been published many times by the British library.
I love Plath, Lang Leav, Auden, Poe, Keats, Shelley, Orwell, Hughes,Seamus Heaney, John Clare, Oscar Wilde, Dylan Thomas, Roald Dahl, Christina Rossetti, Vladimir Nabokov, and True Crime is also a great love of mine.
I love so many authors, far too numerous to mention. I usually get through at least three books a week if not more, I favour true books over novels. I started writing poems age six, and have written ever since. I write a poem most days. Despite studying English at Uni that was many years ago and the writing prompts are great here,I am studying next year towards a M.A in Creative Writing and English Literature as well as prepping my book so I will not be posting as often here but I will be here on and off, love Meia. x |

my plan to fully leave the site hasn't quite worked out, I miss you guys and your feedback! I will be poping in now and then, not to rank but to enjoy the wonderful poems I just won't be too active xx

Meia (MESAYERS): Yes, that is what I look like, I am currently collating my third book (my second poetry book) working title 'Ghost land'. Do my looks make a difference to how my work is viewed? I am guessing so, it's the world we live in, but I consider my brain much more important that my looks. Beauty fade, but dumb is forever!

Meia (MESAYERS): Gosh, six star writer, you really are a fan of self publishing! Actually I HAVE had an offer from a smaller publishing firm on the condition that all the works in it have not been previously read/published etc. Self publishing can be great, but I have found it frustrating as copywrite and so on for pictures are so difficult and paper copies cost so much to produce...so I will have to cover the cost of publishing the first but to be clear, my second book will be through a publisher, it means a lot of work for me writing new content. Thanks for all the kind comments and Mrs.Major you are so right looks are so unimportant when it comes to writing, or life, I never judge anybody in that way at all. love M xxx'6' star, I removed your rather rude comments about self publishing (of which there were many), poetry sites shouldn't be about hate. Ricky and Mrs. M you are two lovely people. The alleged '6 star' writer who claims an extensive higher education unfortunately l has not reflected in his poems so far, but has a HELL of a lot of hate to give. Just not me. I have exciting news in that I HAVE found a wonderful local publishing firm and provided I remove my old content they are keen to take me on. I will have more news in September which seems such a long time ago but to have a proper publisher, mentor and find that they are local to me is the happiest news I have had in forever! xx

Meia (MESAYERS):
The world of publishing is in crisis. It's no coincidence that the worst published writer in the world today is also one of the world's most successful writers... Dan Brown. Now Dan Brown is not a good writer, The Da Vinci Code is not literature. Dan Brown writes sentences like "The famous man looked at the red cup." ...and it's only to be hoped that Dan Brown never gets a job where he's required to break bad news. "Doctor is he going to be alright?" "The seventy five year old man died a painful death on the large green table... it was sad".?

I am stupidly trying to complete two books pretty much simultaneously. 'Curiouser and Curiouser' is my story poems and 'Imperfectly Perfect' is my personal poems or poems written about other subjects than the weird...but as it's me who wrote them it is still pretty weird lol. I am planning on releasing the personal poems first as the story poems are very difficult to format and legal reasons due to pictures, but I will get there. I will announce when both are out but 'Perfectly imperfect' by Meia E.Sayers will be available for pre-order this month on Kindle and shortly after in print.Love Meia xxx
