INFORMATION
I am an introverted person who has always used writing as a form of therapy and expression. I love to write poetry. I have struggled with mental illness from a young age and writing has been a great way for me to process feelings and to work through difficult times as well as remember great ones. I love caring for others and work as a support worker with disabled adults. I am a crazy cat lady and have 2 cats that are my world. I write about a lot of things: emotions, mental health, self harm, my work, inspiring individuals, memories from the past and just anything that is important to me or inspires me in some way. It has taken me a lot of courage to broadcast my work on here because up until this year my poems were solely for me just hidden away inside my notebooks, but now my self confidence has grown and I thought I would just see what others reactions were to my work. Please be honest as constructive criticism is always needed to improve.

I hope you like some of my writing and can maybe relate to it.

Hayley Zemontas: Apologies for yet another break in posting and reviewing. One of my beloved cats got killed by a car at the weekend and I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated so just taking some time out to put myself back together. Please bear with me. Thank you xx

Hayley Zemontas: I just want to say thank you ever so much for helping my poem- Human- reach recognised status. That means a lot to me because its a big slap in the face to the person who inspired it, a medical professional who offered no compassion or humanity. So that feels great. Thank you FS, youre all fantastic x

Hayley Zemontas: Feel so thrilled that my poem ?One Puzzle Piece? has received such glowing feedback and is now up for recognition. From hiding them away in notebooks and showing not one soul to finding the courage to post some on here, and then receiving such positivity and meeting lovely people, is just amazing. Thank you x

Hayley Zemontas: Already feel so much more confident in sharing my writing because I know now that every poem can be improved upon and people are so eager to share their positive feedback and also constructive criticism, and I am inspired so much by everyone else?s brilliant work as well. Thank you fan story for giving me the courage to take my poems from the pages of my solitary notebooks and show them to the world.
