The Story Tale My profile Poem
I wish I could write a story tale
where the words just dance and flow
imagine how magical that would be
like Edgar Allan Poe
Creating tales and fantasies
of new worlds to explore
to make the words just dance and rhyme
like no one else before
Yeah I wish I could write a story tale
where the words just jump and ring
and to make the tale come to life
as you read along and sing
There is nothing like the story tale
that can take you back through time
with endless possibilities
in the perfect type of rhyme
Oh how I enjoy the story tale
its just sweet music to my ears
now that's the kind of poetry
that last for years and years
Edgar was the master
who lived and slammed the door
yet they say there is an evil man
who can write like none before !
My book is now available at most major retailers (Amazon, Barnes and Noble).

TheStoryMan:
Well I was here a long time back - and shut my poetry down -but I missed writing and the creativity that went along with it - I went into a bookstore just before Christmas and read a few of my poems to the clerks and a lady author signing books - and wow - they were just amazed of my ability to remember my poems and how well they rhymed.
I never once took my writing seriously it was just a fun escape when I was bored - That day woke me up and I realized when they said if you ever get a book published you have a place to get them signed - wow - since then have entered contest just to try and see how I could do.
Well - January 1st I got a phone call and placed second and got a certificate and a gift card - to say I was surprised yeah very - and now I have sent in a manuscript for publication - why have I come back
here? Because fanstory has contest and sometimes creativity can jump at ya from just anywhere - and as a writer you need to be open to any of the possibilities that can help you in that process
Fanstory from what I recall had many types of things that could inspire writing - yet alone the friends you meet along the way - So I am back for a new adventure and to see how it goes.

Stephanie Rollins: Absolutely! For writers of any genre, getting the feelings and characters onto paper is a must. It is therapeutic.
