A Faded Dress by victortouche

There is much going on in this short piece, a "wizard" of wording so to speak.

Our hearts raked,
our loves lost,
one brick at a time
it appears.
I particularly like the above stanza. I sat "yes to the dress".

Nicely done. That bond that does not break or bend and holds fast with us until the end of day or trauma right or wrong that let's us know that we belong. Your Ma!

-Glad to see another poem and beautiful photograph.
-You have written a very nice poem about the changes taking place for the fall season.
-I find it interesting that each stanza begins with a longer line, followed by shorter ones.
-"Whispered words from huddled packs of wind blown twirling leaves" is a good example.
-I like the personification and excellent imagery.
-The following two lines are good about remaining leaves "still huddled in the trees."
-Good conclusion.

I love the leaves blowing in the breeze feel of this poem. There's a frost on the pumpkin echo here that makes us all gracefully now to summer and embrace Autumn. Very well done.

My suggestion - keep em coming. I love the freedom you display in this poem. It's raw, real, no holds barred poetry -- a peep into the real Mary. Well done. I love this piece.

Music Touches the Soul by Pam (respa)

Bravo. This is a great piece. One of my favorite poems begins with "We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams". We are defined by our music, it tells the real story of who we are. Children respond to music, pure raw emotions that are the tapestry (one of the great albums of all time) of our lives. One of the things that brought me to America was the music, the viseral pulse of a nation beating for all to hear.

You are welcome. Thanks for the info. Glad to see your poems. I always enjoy them.
