This is so lovely, a very visual poem that didn't even need a photo accompaniment. I can almost see them growing and feel them, your words are vivid.

What a delightful read. Cute, sweet, happy ending. We need some of this. Kids will like this engaging poem and the older children will understand and giggle.

A lovely poem shaped appropriately like a spaceship which soars into heaven. Your poem also soars in spirit and hope. I enjoyed it. Did you paint that gorgeous flower in a vase artwork? It is gloriously colorful and realistic.

Great 5-7-5 with a really good rhyme and accompanying relevant photo. It ends with a wonderful opposite: Hope. It is overall optimistic and represents our hard times but with a hopeful end to the hard times.

What a haunting and dystopian picture your poem paints, one that feels real. Your final line could be the final words at the end of an end-of-the-world movie. I like it a lot. The accompanying art work is a great choice!

What a wonderful art choice to accompany a poem that is pulls together the distant and the near for our visual pleasure. I like the assonance of "far stars" which is a swift, engaging beginning that brings us into your poetic world.

What an delightful 7-word or less poem. Photo is also delightful. Such is the riddle of attraction. Your short poem cuts to the chase about the power of a smile!

Tanvi Pauddar
Thank you. I wasn't exactly thinking about that topic, but once I read my poem, I myself could see that.

You say so eloquently what many of us are experiencing right now. The first and final lines is a true summary of our times and lives right now. The photo is so beautiful: Looks like an elegant ring. Your words sting and capture the essence of these days.

Shirley McLain
Thank you so much for the kind remarks and the stars. Shirley

I like the feeling of continuity that your poem creates. It's a sweet dedication to family and I am caught up now in a flood of memories of my own family. What a pretty family photo you included.
