An 8-6 poem

Poetry Contest

First you need to pick one word of one syllable. The first line, which is 8 syllables does not need to rhyme, but set the premise for the second line. The second line fulfills the premise and the last one syllable word must rhyme with others. You can write as many lines as you want. Example
Line 1 Why in the world did god decide? 8 syllables.
Line 2 That we all needed lips. 6 syllables.
All line 2s must rhyme.
