How to review.

The reviewer.

by John bailey

To those writers and poets at Fan- Story,
that I respect so much.
I still question myself about reviews.
I review a poem from which was a beautiful piece,
it was a pleasure just to read.
I tried to write a review to honor this poet.
Even after, I felt unworthy,
how can an amateur like myself review a
professional author or a poet.
those with that talent is an unspoken word.
It would be an offense to each.
But I also thought of one like myself.
Someone who writes from the heart,
all the words are not pretty they are not
always in the right place.
I'm sure that some think it's just junk words put on paper.
How can you review someone like myself.
The past is all I know, the dirt, the farm,
my Granddaddy, and this old mule.
At 4 or 5 years old I saw this mule die
in the field, my Granddaddy walking home
a broken man.
How can you read my past and know who I am.
Just a country boy with no fancy words.
There's probably not a writer or poet out there
who knows what I mean when I say pulling on air.
I had a reviewer Goggle it, they could not find it.
It's just as hard to review me, as it is for me to review you.

I love you all and enjoy your work.
I know I'm not all bad a lot of my photos have
been used from Fan- art for fan story
some of my writing has been used in their work.
When I introduced myself I think I left a lot out.
I was a high voltage lineman until I made manager.
I tell you sitting at a computer is a lot of work,
if you never used one.
"pulling wire from pole to pole
sixty feet in the air" think about it.
I respect all of you.

I felt the need to reintroduce myself we all have a past, I bet we all use it.
