Chapter four

Overhead, the clouds split and a shaft of August sunshine reflected off his dark fur.

"Help you?"

I demanded incredulously.

"You attacked me!"

He propped himself up on one elbow.

"True, but you followed me as a Hood!"

"Yeah, well just so you know, attacking someone is not a good way to get their help."

"Sorry," He sat up, his Wolf receding as he morphed back into a boy.

I changed back to, but kept the wolf just below the surface, ready to come out, just in case.

"What do you want me to help you with?"

"My sister, I need your help to find her."

"Why? Is she missing?"

"She went missing since we were small."

His voice trailed off, his eyes staring over my shoulder at a painful memory far in the distance.

Against my will, my heart panged with pity. He looked so sorrowful! I wanted to help him.

"Do you have any idea where she could be?"

As soon as I said those words I regretted them. Of course he had no idea, if he did, he most likely would've found her by now.

"Actually, I have a pretty good idea where she is, I just need your help getting there."

"Where is there?"

He stood up, flashing a smile that sent currents of electricity up and down my spine.

"Ever heard of Lunar cliff?"
