Crazy Dates 3

by Bill Schott

I met two girls in the small town near my own. They were hanging around on the street outside the grocery store when I pulled up with my car. Both were attired in short shorts, tight t-shirts, and sandals.

"Will you buy us a bottle of Boone's Farm?" asked the red head with a sweet smile.

My mind assessed the possibilities when I realized the other girl looked familiar. Her unfortunate hair, matted to her sweaty face, had masked that she was my cousin. I also realized both were around sixteen.

I may have fish-tailed as I made my retreat.
