A rhyming poem of appreciation for Grace

Jesus' Brilliant Colours

by smileycloud

Humanity drowning in our sinful nature, as dark as the cold night
Stuck in a murky black pit of despair, devoid of stars or bright moonlight
Jesus hanging on the Cross, willingly spilling His precious crimson blood
Washing away our frightful fall from Grace, bathing us in the cleansing flood
Paving the way for our soul and heart to unite with the God we once knew
Now as white as snow, there's a lid on satan's barbaric kettle of brew
