A good message in your poem, Ronni. There's not much we can do about our past, except learn from it. Best to look to the present and future and enjoy as much as we possibly can .... to "feel life in its might and flight". That is my favourite line, and good advice to live by.

time goes on, will never stop
to heed our lingering woes or tears ... Well written and also very true, Ronni. There's very little we can do concerning our past, or our past mistakes. The most important thing we CAN do is learn from them so we don't keep making the same old mistakes over, and over again.
It's much better to go through life with a smile than a frown, no matter how badly you're hurting inside.
