FanStory wrote to TOMORAL: I Love You Grandma finished second in the contest "What is Love?"

TOMORAL: I am an oh-so-grateful cancer survivor turned writer in my autumn years. Never had so much fun in my life. I have been published with short stories, testimonies, and devotionals in several books. I love to write, and Fanstory is an excellent place to do that. I appreciate each and every one of you here on this site. God led me here, I know, to meet all the wonderful people here who have encouraged and reviewed my work.

Blessings~
vasquezsavage: I wanted to check you out after your most thoughtful words on my poem. I see you just joined. Glad to have you aboard. I look forward to reading some of your work. My mother is a breast cancer survivor. I am now disabled. I was a 31 yr. social worker and adoption/foster care parent. I have one autobiographical novel ready to publich and one book of poetry also not published. I've only been writing for two years. Glad to have you and thanx for reading my poem. vasquez savage -

4tulips: Welcome to Fanstory Tomoral. I regard myself a newbie here too, since I joined in late Sept. Nice to see another writer for Christ. Happy New Year! -
vasquezsavage: tomoral, I posted your story "Young Stranger" on my blog w/my poem "Is Anybody Listening" and a wonderful pic from "TSArt" from fanstory. Feel free to look at it at vasquezsavage.com and see what you think. I let you know what kind of response I get. It will also get posted on my facebook site. Thanx so much for agreeing to let me post it. I think it will minister. vs/ron, -
vasquezsavage: Just an update tomoral. 55 people read your story "Young Stranger" along with my poem "Is Anybody Listening". That is only 10 less than the most that have ever visited my blog. I usually average around 15 or 20 hits. There were no comments, but I am excited how many hits it received. Thanx again for letting me post it. It will go into my devotional archive on the site. vs/ron, -

gypsycaravan: I am a two time cancer survivor. At age 24, I had thyroid cancer that had metastasized to 10 lymph nodes. Prognosis at that time was a maximum of 5 years. Seventeen years ago, I had a rather large melanoma removed. And yet, here I am, almost 75 yrs. young and still healthy. -
patcelaw: I am in my autumn years too and have dealt with bi-polar for years. I started writing poetry and short stories as a way to deal with some difficulties. My life story was made into a radio drama. It is available on the internet at
    www.oneplace.comministries/unshackled
You will find my story in the archives for Oct 2014, my name is Patricia Lawrence Program numbers are 3325 and 3326

Eric1: Hi Tomoral, I have no particular reason for writing my friend, but I have just been told about you and felt that I wanted to get to know you better, I am relatively new to FS so do not know too many people on here, I just wanted to say what an incredibly brave lady you are and an inspiration to all. -
patcelaw: It is a blessing to read your work here, I am glad you survived the cancer. May God continue to bless you writing. Patricia -

I am an oh so grateful recent cancer survivor turned writer. I have only been writing for two years, after God has given this awesome ability in my autumn years. I learn something new everyday, and wonder how I ever lived before I became a writer. I am a Christian, and I write mostly stories, poems, and articles about my faith. However, I do write some secular pieces as well. I have learned so much here on this site, and met some super faith based friends as well. I love Fanstory...
